Do the rear down bars have to stay parallel to each other to be legal? or can they be slightly not parallel?

i mean the bars that go from the top of the main hoop to the floor of the rear

i have been through the rulebook 10 times and can't find anything saying that they have to be but i don't want fuck myself

    thanks

They do not have to be parallel, in fact you can make an X out of them if you want. If you are worried about it, call Tim at valley alignment and see what he says.

Yea, give Tim a call if your not sure.

Also just to throw this out there, we are having Tim to the track for a chassis seminar this summer, will save a few bucks on getting it certified.
