and then trouble shooting...

Well, im hoping to get it completely done within the next few weeks...before summer REALLY hits haha. yea joel, I just used some safety wire and wrapped it around the clip and it worked fine. I dont think it will be THAT slow haha, about as "quick" as my northstar haha. Ive got 460cc injectors, and a walbro fuel pump standing by, waiting to put that in until im happy with the setup ive got and after running it for awhile. Would still need a NIStune board on my ECU, install my OBX fuel pressure regulator, something to adjust the boost pressure and air/fuel ratio with (wideband controller) and a bigger turbo if I want to go bigger than 300rwhp. As for troubleshooting it, it shouldnt be that hard, ive got a ECU swapped in from a turbo car thats wires are identical to mine, troubleshooting will be nothing more than a few hours in an FSM.
thanks guys! finally some positive comments
lolsee you all on the streets soon

You're waiting to put the bigger injectors in? What are you running now stockers? Why are you waiting if you allready have them exactly? Good luck with the rest of your build, hopefully it goes good for you and actually gets done this time
lolI've always been a fan of doing things in steps on turbo cars. That way, it feels faster longer lol

Also, if he gets the car running with the stock z31 turbo stuff installed, he will know he did all the turbo swap stuff correctly. That way if he has issues he can find them while the car is kinda stock vs. dealing with not having a tune for the larger injectors and other stuff, as the car should fire up fine and run good with the stock items.

exactly! less things to troubleshoot haha.

I love that you couldn't just wait until it was actually done and running......

building a car big and getting bored with it right away can be expensive too!I'm proof of this.....I have zero desire to make my car run, even though I'm about 12 hours away from it being complete.

build it the way you want it!

Would have been sweet with a GT35R

Can I get a 3.3L with that?
Only if i can toss in installation for free. -
Got it running last night, no vids though, got an antifreeze leak, but that was expected. No other leaks as far as I can see, transmission sealed good, no oil, power sttering fluid. Turbo spools great and sounds great, working on installing a ford taurus fan for more cooling. No exhaust on it but am thinking of going with a 3in turbo back stianless. It was running pretty rough at first but after messing with the distributer and turning it, she smoothed out and sounds lovely.
I DO have a couple vids...but they are shitty cell phone vids...idk if they are worthy of posting up

Did you really just tell us you timed it based on sound? While that works great for a quick fix, you plan on using a timing light right?
Congrats on getting it running tho, must feel pretty good. Just missed the races tho
