ka parts wanted

Hoping to find an exhaust manifold or shorty header, aftermarket cams, springs, intake for a ka24de for a friend doing a swap in his truck.
Let me know what you have and what you want for it, I'll forward it on.

Is there a reason for wanting aftermarket cam's and springs? I don't really think its worth the time, or money to put them in.

I don't know if I still have a spare KA24DE manifold laying around, Might have one on my parts motor.

I think he just wants it to be extra fun to drive..haha.. LMK if you have the manifold, I'm trying to scrape together parts he needs to trade toward parts I need.

I have put cams in a NA 240 before, and it was a waste. It had little more "power' up top like at 5k+, however below 5k it was worse then stock from what I remember. We ended up putting stock cams in the car again later for the owner of the car. Car already had all the other NA mods you can do with out touching the motor.

If he wants some extra fun, tell him to start saving up for a turbo, or to do some engine work(leave the head alone other then a refresh and some polishing).
