I've carried at BWW in MN, although I don't carry when going to drink.

Atleast in MN, they have to ask you to leave, and then if you don't its a $25 ticket.

Also, BWW doesn't comply with state laws on postings:

"What are the requirements for the sign?

The sign must be 187 square inches in area. This includes an 11-inch-by- 17-inch sign, but it could also be other dimensions, as long as it is of the required area. The background of the sign must be “bright.”

The lettering must be black Arial typeface at least 1.5 inches in height. The lettering must contrast with the background of the sign.

The sign must indicate the identity of the operator of the private establishment and state that the operator “BANS GUNS IN THESE PREMISES.” For example: “ACME ANVILS, INC., BANS GUNS IN THESE PREMISES.”

Where must signs be posted?

The signs must be posted within four feet laterally of every entrance to the establishment. The bottom of the sign must be four to six feet above the floor."

You may want to educate yourself a little.

Here is a VERY common story.

A patron shot and killed a would-be robber who fired shots inside a restaurant on the city's southwest side.

The patron, 51, was injured in the incident Wednesday along with the owner of Adi's Coney Island after two robbers burst into the 24-hour restaurant around 10 p.m, said Mark Creeger, who’s been a cook there for five years. At least one of the men fired a weapon.

The patron, who has a license to carry a gun, fired at the robbers and killed one of them, Detroit Police said. The other man fled.

The patron was wounded, but was in stable condition, according to police. The restaurant owner was expected to be released from the hospital this morning, according to Creeger.

Yup, it is illegal to conceal carry any were alcohol is being served.

To me its kind of a odd point. It's illegal to carry in BWW in the fist place, them posting the sign is kind of pointless, just show's everyone who walks in the door guns aren't allowed even though anyone who knows/fallows guns and carry laws knows its not legal to anyway.

Maybe just trying to make some of the anti gun people happy since gun people already know they can't bring a gun in?

That is ND law. Many other states allow it.
I am all for following state laws. Its the Federal ones that I usually have issues with.

Ahh i'm not familiar with ND laws, I grew up in MN and most of my guns and stuff are down there in the safes. I also heard one time that not only do they have to have a sign, but also have to verbally tell you you cannot carry in there?

The law states:

Any person who enters or remains in that part of the establishment that is set aside for the retail sale in an establishment engaged in the retail sale of alcoholic beverages or used as a gaming site while in the possession of a firearm or dangerous weapon is guilty of a class A misdemeanor.

SO carrying in BWW is legal if they allowed it as long as you dont go in the bar side of the establishment. Since its a designated area. That area is off limits.
