Yup... I am new here.

I am completely new here... haven't even looked through all of the forum yet.
I am actually fairly new to Fargo as well... I just moved here last August from Brainerd Minnesota.
I just found this forum tonight while I was killing time at work. I figured I would post a few pics of my '87 Stang GT. I bought it early in April of '99 from the original owner (which I knew pretty well) and at the time it had an actual 23,xxx miles on it. According to the previous owner, it had never seen snow, and nobody had ever even ridden in the backseat of the car. I was actually looking for an older Stang, but after seeing what kind of shape this car was in, I couldn't pass it up.
It now has just under 55,000 miles on it, and has a few modifications. I like to bracket race it in Comp-Trophy at BIR.
Since I got that car, I have put a K&N filter charger kit on it (not on the car anymore), Flowmaster American Thunder Cat-Back exhaust, a Hypertech Chip (not currently on the car anymore), an Edelbrock "dry type" 80hp Nitrous kit, Ford Motorsport 3.73 Gears, Granatelli Motor Sport Subframe Connectors, Lakewood Driveshaft Safety Loop, a pair of BF Goodrich Drag Radials mounted on a second pair of rims just for BIR, a Kirban adjustable Fuel Pressure regulator and pressure gauge and other little misc visual things.
While I am still always looking for an older Stang, I'll never get rid of this one.My ET's to date on the Stang:
Quickest ET: 13.445
Quicket MPH: 103.59They aren't quite where I want them... but it'll get there.
Now onto the pics...

Not a big fan of the rims or the red, but I like the rest.Stock 87 GT rims is all they are. Nothing special. I can't make up my mind which rims I like on those cars... The 17" Cobra R's are pretty cool... as are the 16" Pony rims... I should just break down and do a 5 lug conversion and get some Torque Thrusts for it. I love those.
As far as red... I must be one of the few people out there that like red interior. I am a big fan of the old 60's Stangs with red interior. The new '05's with red interior are sweet as well... hasn't been a very popular option though from what I've read. -

Really? The red stripe around it eh? I dunno... I like that too...? I actually got the reflective red lettering and put on the ground effects letters to highlight those better. They match the stripe that goes around the car.

Meh, I guess I am not a huge fan of stuff like that. -

Welcome to Fargostreet. I like the car except for the seats and the wheels. I do agree that the Cobra wheels would set the car off. But like I said before nice car. Very well maintained. Thanks, I've been trying to find a good car forum website for Fargo or ND since I moved here... and it took me until tonight to find one.

.Yeah, I'll vote for the 97 Rs; or hell, even the 03 cobra wheels look good on the Fox stangs....or maybe some 18" 00Rs?
(gotta have some big brakes behind those though)nice clean stang though!

I am going to have to say that you should go with the Cobra R rims. They look just too damn good on any Stang. Make sure to get them in 18's though the 17's just look a little off.

welcome....clean ride.

Cobra R's sound like the winning vote getter. The thing that has really been holding me back on buying rims is that these cars come stock with a 4 lug setup and I keep throwing around the idea of doing a 5 lug conversion on it.
Anyways, Monday night when I got back into town I dropped by Taco Johns for a bit in West Fargo... so that must have been where you saw it sitting.
