The people who are smart would sell those ugly shit boxes on ebay.Just imagine that every one in the nation knows your car and that it has 40,000 bucks worth of electronics in it. One word.
Stolen.

The kid was like DUUUUUDE!!!!!! when he saw the Scion unveiled. Kinda gay if you ask me. It was so funny to watch. It wasn't his statement about Fargo that defaced it on national TV, It was his reaction when he met X and when he saw his "new" car. Then he said, yeah, I'm from Fargo ND. Good, going buddy, now your better than us cuz you now live in a neighborhood where your shit will get jacked in a week. He moves here and everyone knows where his car was done. The five minute shop called West Coast Customs. Slapped together so bad, you drive just enough to get MTV some cruising footage then the car falls apart. Good luck to em.

jsut because the show is 30 minutes long...doesnt mean they get it all done in 30 minutes......I'm sure if xzibit came to your house...you would look like a idiot too.
-
I admit it I dont really care for xzibit but Iwould probably make an ass of myself if he came to my house. I have watched that show numerous times(unfortunately) and have noticed a few things things....
- Bodykits NEVER fit right
- Grill and headlights NEVER fit right
- Paint schemes have never impressed me
- Who puts a water fountain and a fish tank in your damn car?!
I think that is the worst show on tv and almost makes "modding" your car look stupid.
-
yeah i agree....half the cars they work on there they dont make aftermarket parts for...so they go out...and buy whatever will come close to fit just to make it look good....but they do put alot of stupid shit in cars.....like mini basketball courts, popcrn machines....and all that bullshit.....i'd have them do that to my car....then sell it as soon as i left the building......I'd pick 310 motoring over West Coast Customs though.

I think if I owned a vehicle that needed work and I could choose what tv show it went on to be "pimped," I would pick Overhaulin.....hands down.

If my car ever got stolen and a detective called me up and told me it was in a chop shop I would laugh and tell them I want to keep it black and dont f*ck with my seat.

However Pimp My Ride just is not a good representation of WCC from what I gather. Some of the stuff you see them do outside of PMR looks amazing (for the style, if you like that style of customization) - they've been on Rides a few times doing anything from big name custom jobs on hummers to putting the first set of aftermarket wheels on an Enzo. Funny how I've never seen those 4 or 5 goobers from PMR on anything else with WCC. But yeah, some of the PMR jobs are hideous, not only in what they do but in workmanship. One that sticks out in my mind was a civic hatch IIRC. Laid down a beautiful pearl paint but left obvious tape lines in quite a few places letting the original white show through.
I think I'd rather have Monster Garage "Pimp My Ride".
