Jim i would agree with you. and if all else fails just call the DMV and ask them. 701.328.2581 is the number you could call and ask.

i drove that car when i worked at sears. Its from Langdon, ND. and he's owned it since it was new, it had 250,000 when i was in it.

As long as the SKyline is legal in ur state u shouldn't have any problems.

You will be just fine to bring your car down to the states. You're only visiting anyway. It would be a different story if you planned on moving here. But as a visitor, you should be just fine. If and when you call the DMV, make sure you state that your visiting only.

Trailer it down here and back and you will be fine... as long as the car doesnt see public roads its ok. RHD japanese or european cars are alright when used for racing purposes only.

I worked on a RHD subi wagon last fall with around that many miles on it. I think it was postal use back then. Not sure if it is still around though.

As of the RHD being legal....as long as it passes US crash tests and emissions of that year, it doesn't matter which side you drive on.

Does a car have to be legal to drive in the US even if it is registered in another country and they aren't a resident? Oh, I almost forgot, Nissan rocks! Hope to see you and the skyline down here for the autox.

one the prev mentions posts, we cannot take our cars to germany and drive them, they have to pass their tests to be on the road, including absolutely no rust, there is also a scandinavian country that makes you put on big 4 inch different colored lights on the back to make it legal, plus a bunch of other shit, SOme dude has had to do it to like 6 different Saleens

the rust thing comes from a German family I know, they have to register every 2 years and pass the rust test and several others or their car is pulled from the road until it is fixed

Cannon ball runs were non-sanctioned fun races for people that got together and ended up with publicity, the whole concept was to prove that it is safe to drive at high speeds on the roads, but to win you have to speed, if you look into the history of the cannonball run you'll find that they ran into problems with police, because of what they were doing. it hasn't been run for 3 times knowingly, and then the usa network did their own reality show on it. That is also the u.s. version.

The Gumball 3000 may be what you are referring to, www.gumball3000.com the whole point is to do something illegal (speed) and not get caught. Now if you do something illegal, you can do it, until you get caught. I bet good money that they don't get licensed just for a race, I bet they run it without a care for registration, or the legalities.

we can do one here too. Fargo, to gf, minot, williston, dickinson, bismarck, fargo.

as far as the scandinavian country, neither gumball or cannonball ran thru any of them, the article is either in 5.0 mustang or mustang monthly, I'm not digging out back issues to prove a point.

Ill just chime in even tho Im a few days late and way more than a dollar short...

RHD is no big deal, at least in Arizona. I know a guy down there who has an RB20DET swapped S13 and he also converted it to RHD (dont ask why, wayyyyyy too much time on his hands) anyway, its all registered and legal and crap. Im DAMN sure ND's registration and driving laws are a wee bit more relaxed than AZ's, so you should be fine. I hope to see you next saturday at the autoX, that should be PIMP-tastic. Ive seen a few GT-R's (as well as an RB26DETT swapped into a GTS base model) skylines before and have loved every one of them!

Nitrous is kind of like a hot chick with STD's.... You know you wanna hit it, but you're afraid of the consequences!
