As I don't plan to drive it, its dosen't matter to me. Shel just loves pink, I don't mind the color too much, just another color to me. I am doing it because I love her and something shes always wanted was a pink car.

As for guys who wear pink shirts, I think they are screwed up, damn fruit cakes.

I actually am debating opening a used car lot. I found out women go crazy over pink cars and they sell really good because of the color. So maybe next year, I will start selling pink cars. lol

I do not like turbos, not my cup of tea. Superchargers maybe, but no turbos for me.

HEY! There is no law that says you can't have a turbo chevy motor. Do both! I would drop a chevy motor in if I had to choose. There is more room to grow that way....and more TQ.

thats true.. but they made turbo fieros back in the day.. so i figured thatd be easier than a chevy swap.

Hey, I'm going to be swapping my Bored and stroked v6 out of my 86 fastback for a "massaged" 327. My engine makes good power and is very reliable. Are you puting a stock 2.5 back in? I've painted mine twice so make sure you use a flexative in the paint or it wont last long! Good luck

What are you going to do with you old engine. I am looking for a V6 for my 87 GT. My girlfriends car will get to keep the 2.5 as she dosn't want to go fast and it gets great gas milage. But I am getting a 86 SE with a Northstar 4.1 V8 this Saturday, so she might get that one instead.

I know about the flexable paint, I have painted 4 of these cars, I use the same stuff like they use for rubber bumpers. I might not paint this one though, as the complexity of the paint job, I know a guy in Chicago who does custom Fiero's, that will probally do it for me and some body mods.

If you are intrested in selling that engine, shoot me a e-mail or PM. I want something for my GT with a little umph.

who cares...and the paint job was just bad to begin with

At first I did it for fun, then I realized I made the investment and had to do it!

That would have fit my girlfriend perfectly and saved me a lot of money. But what the heck, half the fun is building the car. I was thinking of doing a fiero since I have 6 of them, but might stray to something else this winter. Wonder what I should buy her. Has to be front wheel drive, automatic and loaded. humm...

If I only had the money for that little eclipse, but I bet I would ahve driven it more than her. I had 8 grand at the time, but not enough and couldn't get a loan. I liked the color though, pain to take care of though.

I am thinking Moulin Rouge or panther pink instead for her car now.

yea, neons are a pain in the ass I guess to deal with cause they fade really bad. and I guess they over priced that eclipse really bad. just make your girlfriend's car different, like a one of a kind... make it unique. she'd probably happy to have a unique car...

and PSiedTSI, you don't have to be rude, it's un called for. I'd rather pay for my own things for my car instead of have mommy and daddy pay for it all... if it's just the car, and no after market things, thats one thing, but everything, thats goin overboard... it's not a big deal if they help out a little though

Its true. just to include anything that has to do with "mommy and daddy" is just asking for an argument. i mean, why do you gotta include it anyways if it has nothing to do with what g35 girl was proving? everybody knows it, nobody cares, only you and you keep letting it bother you. i dunno why it does.

My parents bought my car-whoopty friggen do. i dont act like im 10 levels better then you in the game of life cause I was given somethin expensive. you're the only person on this board that brings it up, and it gets old. You are no better then any the rest of us cause you had to work so hard on something that hasnt even been paid for yet, which wont be done until after winter, which is what they all say. If i wanted to, I could have 3 different jobs right now but I dont wanna, so I only have 2 and work 35+ hours a week, depending.

but tony(psiedtsi) wasnt the rude one, you were, bringing it up all snotty and everything just to spark an argument and try to prove that your better then she is cause you buy your own self.

                                      again nobody cares.

I have one and work 40-50 a week and have worked a 72hr week a couple times before. 😄

Not bragging just stating... work sucks! If I could have my parents pay off my car, and quad... shit id probably go to school for something pointless and work a part time job and loaf all day.

                                        I ride random bitches.
