by maintence required light do you mean the indicator that goes from green to red? if so there is a button you push w/ your key to reset it. it's changed after a certain number of miles to let you know you need to change your oil.

according to a thread on honda-acura.net
"you can turn it off by turning the key to the acc position and reaching under the steering wheel column and holding down a small sqaure button until the light turns off."

never done it before, so i don't knwo how accurate that is

My accord was the same way...there is a difference between this "maintenance required" idicator and the actual check engine light. The indiator will go from green to amber and then to red (red meaning your way past scheduled maintenance). But I have no idea how to reset the inticator in integra's. All it took for me was my key...just like resetting the trip.

There is a button underneath the dash which rests that light, which is your Acura's friendly way of reminding you to change your oil. The Maintenace Required light is triggered by mileage, I believe, and it does not indicate a malfunction.

                            Yes, this^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Hondas use a maint req light to remind the user that it is time to change the oil. Dependant on the vehicle, it usually comes on every 7500 miles, which is hondas oil change service interval. On the integra, newer ones like yours, there is a small square button on the bottom of your dash that you need to hold down to reset it. just get upside down and use a flash light, itll be right in front of your face.
