anyone help me about a ticket

i got an exhibition driving ticket and went to court to fight it and the judge was being a beach and giving everone a guilty verdict. i am now going to district court for my appeal.

with that said, i didnt do what the cop said that i did, and the judge said something to the affect that because the cop heard my supercharger(which comes stock as you all know) it is considered exhibition driving.

my question for all of you, have any of you been pulled over for the same thing and gotten out of it, or do you know of anything that says that its not exhibition driving if your supercharger creates a "little" boost. i would be willing to let it go and pay the ticket if i had actually did what they are saying i did, but i didnt and i want to stick it in the judge and cops face.

that sounds pretty lame to me man. what about people with turbos who accelerate a little quickly? ive never heard of anyone getting a ticket because a cop heard a bov.

i know that im not going to win, it doesnt cost anymore to appeal and have a nother judge, so i figure that i will make the cop spend some more time with me at court.
does anyone remember me getting pulled over back in late april, i was driving a red ford f150 svt lightning. i know i talked to a couple of you after i got back together with you guys. if you do, please write me or pm me, i would like to talk to you.

GOOD Luck! and as for turbo's I did get pulled over for what the cop said was accellerating too quickly... so yeah it does happen

Good way to get out of this type of ticket^^^ in ND, bring a "rules of the road" book (the one you get when you are studying for your permit) in there it states that when entering into traffic you are to accelerate to traffic speeds as quickly as possible.

thanks, that almost seems fool proof, except for the part in which exhibition driving is concidered driving a vehicle in such a manner that it creates or causes unnecessary engine noise, tire squeal, skid or slide upon accaleration......etc.

the judge told me that even if the cop just heard my supercharger (which i told him came stock) that it is still concidered exhibition driving, i just dont understand how a vehicle equiped with a supercharger, cannot utilize the supercharger. just because my truck is fast, doesnt mean its agenced the law

argue that. The supercharger is stock and the noise is just part of the vehicles standard operation. Thats like saying after you put a fart can/exhaust on your car that the deeper tone when you accelerate is unnecessary, or a blow off valve is unnecessary, or anything that makes noise is. Then their sirens are unnecessary as well (i know i know). The fact that common sense doesnt kick and isnt being used here is retarded (common sense on the judges part, not yours)

I got out of an ex. for loud exhaust. According to the law, I was not driving the veh. in a manner for it to be loud, rather that the vehicle is loud. That is what got me off and I pleaded for loud exhaust... I had the ord. printed off with me in the courtroom, the judge agreed with me...

If you have a video camera video tape your car leaving an intersection under normal acceleration to prove that the supercharger makes noise under normal driving conditions.
I think that would be more than enough proof to get out of a ticket. If you didn't squeal your tires or drive in an unappropriate manner you should have nothing to worry about. Besides the fact, does the officer have proof it was your car if all he did was hear it, could've been somebody else, in my understanding they actually have to see the act to write a ticket. Using the cops logic a squeaky belt is exhibition.
