Sweet ass TA. Is that a K20 with ITB's in that civic?
-
S2000 Motor...whatever engine code that is
-
Some quick results of local people (off the top of my head):
Best Subaru: Shane Noble (1st) Chuck Schwan (2nd)
Best Mitsubishi: Scott Blodgett (I think thats his last name anyway....Bomex Eclipse....1st) Stephen Bradley (2nd)
Best Acura Integra: Mark Fradet (1st)
Best Shop: Tintmasters
Best Honda Other: Tony Swartz (1st)There might have been others or people who's names I can't recall off the top of my head, but our little corner kicked pretty good ass!!
Tony West (350z) GOT RIPPED OFF!!! Sure he was competing against a 4 Skylines and ton of Sylvia's, but he probably drew a bigger crowd than anyone else I saw (besides those w/ models hanging out at their cars) and didn't place. For those of you who have not seen his car it is IMMACULATE w/ his CF hood and Hatch and Front Diffuser....not only that but he probably had the cleanest car at the show bar none. He got hosed.

that motor in the blue civic hatch is not a s2000 motor. it is a k20a out of an integra type-r from japan. the f22c(the s2000 motor) wud b facing the opposite way of the k20

Not what his board beside the car said.....
-
Stephen wanna back me up on this one?
-
that looks nothing like the k20 motor
-
I never talked to the owner of the car, just read the board beside it. I just go by what I read, I know ZERO about honda motors and/or engine codes (ok, I know a little, but not enough to distinguish one from the other in the dark)
-
They were some of the guys that cleaned house, I for example found a cool trophy just setting on stage collecting dust, as did stephen
-
the only reason that it doesnt look like the k20 from a type s is because of the i-Vtec cover that they have over the intake maifold.......and she chose to take it off
-
Don't you mean the valve cover or something that car has no intake manifold?
-
here is the link chuck, it isn't a s2000 motor. i can assure you. http://www.speedtechracing.com/media_car.php?id=11#. it is a k20a from a dc5 so there for i am not wrong. an s2000 motor sits compelely different than a k20 motor which is in the blue hatch. look at an s2000 valve cover, it looks completely different. s2000 valve covers are red and black, k20 valve covers are just red and silver. i can assure u it is a k20 becuz i have been thinking about putting a k20 into my car. IT IS A K20 AND NOT A S2000 MOTOR!!!
