so if you have any form of sticker that represents another shop, you can't enter? is that right?Haven't heard that one, but I'd doubt it. If that is the case I'm screwed as well. Also it would probably limit the cars coming from Winnipeg since there are a lot of AutoToys cars that showed up last year. By this weekend (hopefully) I will probably have decals on my sideskirts that can't really be removed, a couple of which are shop names....

Sorry for the misunderstanding. Read tintmasters post about the guidelines and rules.

Guess all of our cars will not be attending then. I also read this statment and that we would be fined for such displays. Sorry but im not gonna bring my own personal vehicle and peel everything off of it to let somebody else take claims for it.
Your not going to get much of an attendance if your start banishing all the cars from other shops.

If what has been said is true, I'm going to have to ask for a refund of my entry. My "decal" is going to be painted on, not a real big likelyhood that I'll be able to peel that one off. I understand that this is a tintmasters show and is designed to get more business for yourself, so I can see not allowing any other shops to set up displays, but to ban the decals? That seems a little extreme. If people are paying the $50 to show their car in the way they wish to express themselves, why can't they have a different shops decal on their window/door/hood/whatever.
Next question, does this apply to display boards too? For example, will I not be allowed to mention on my display board who installed which pieces? Some of my work was done by me, some by Tintmasters and the rest by Type-R. Can I not say who did my work on my display?
Jason/Shane/Fossaa/someone wanna clarify this?

I got a crazy idea..... Instead of going back and forth over what he said she said, why doesn't someone.........................CALL and talk to tintmasters. The rule is if you are coming from another shop YOU CANNOT ADVERTISE FOR THE SHOP IN THE FORM OF HANDING OUT BUSINESS CARDS, FLYERS, HANGING LARGE BANNERS FROM SHOPS, ETC.... I am not exactly sure where the 'cannot have decals on the car from other shops' idea came from, but if that was the case what a pointless show. If someone puts "ABC RACING SHOP" huge on the side of a vehicle obviously that would be subject to paying the fee, but the normal shop stickers are fine.
That being said.....
I think it is very amusing to watch everyone get bent out of shape from someone posting incorrect information.... SETTLE DOWN PEEPS and....
I heard there is an astroid coming towards Fargo, ND.....RUNNNNN

i contacted shane and he told me that any sticker or vinyl decal that reprsents another shop in town in which tintmasters competes with is not "legal". This is a tintmasters event and the advertisements of other local shops will not be allowed. However, decals that represent products you support such as AEM, Enkei Wheels, Toyo Tires, etc... are fine. I do have another question about the show however, what are the group or category's for the cars? Domestics and Imports and what not?Disregard this post, there is a bunch of confusion here that I has been clarified in the previous post...

What if it's a racecar and has shop sponsorship logos on the side of it?
Not welcome as well then? -

Seriously, WHAT THE FUCK! -
So what your saying is why cant tag up on own cars as we please or we pay a fine? How exactly are these fines going to be acessed? Everything last thing on my own personal vehicle was fabricated by myelf but yet im not able to display that it was done by myself, same goes for Joe's EVO, Jeremy's talon, and thompsons integra, all have turbo setups done by me so say they have a display board they are not able to display that?

Display boards are fine to give props to shops that supplied labor/product. This show IS NOT INTENDED TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE WE DO EVERYTHING TO EVERY CAR!!!!

OK HERE IT IS FOR SLS, TYPE R, ROADSOUNDS, TINTMASTERS, AUTOWERX, ETC..., ETC....
YOU MAY HAVE STICKERS ON YOUR CAR WITH YOUR SHOPS NAME AS WELL AS YOUR SHOP NAME ON YOUR DISPLAY BOARD (YOUR CUSTOMERS MAY DO SO AS WELL) LIKE EVERY OTHER SHOW. HOWEVER IF YOU DECIDE THE NIGHT BEFORE THE SHOW TO PUT A STICKER ON THE SIDE OF THE CAR, THAT GOES THE COMPLETE LENGTH OF THE CAR THAT HAS A COMPETITORS SHOPS NAME, JUST FOR THE PURPOSE OF ADVERTISING AT OUR SHOW, YOU WILL NOT BE LET IN.... THERE SHOULD NOT BE ANY CONFUSION WITH THIS....
WHY ARE PEOPLE STILL JUMPING ON THIS BANDWAGON AND WHORING OUT THIS THREAD AND NOT RUNNING FROM THE ASTROID THAT IS ALMOST HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
