ok, I need help finding out who was racing down 19th, by elephant park, because they pretty much ran my friend off the road, he had to go up on the curb so he would not get hit, so if I could find out who this was, it would be GREATLY appreciated! my friend was driving a white 4dr older caddilac..... and honestly, people like you, pretty much running people off the road while your "racing" grow up. you can seriously get in a bad accident that way!
please help me on this!!! thanks

my friend couldn't really see it, but I will try and see if he knows what the cars/car looked like, and if I find out I'll post it..... sorry about that..

sorry to say, I couldn't find out anything, he couldn't see the cars cause it was at night, but they managed to get him on the fricken side walk so he wouldn't get hit by these idiots, but if anyone finds out anything, anything at all, it would help out so much.. I think his yr caddy is a 91... I think it happened on the weekend maybe

you need to actually know some stuff before you try to accuse people or ask for help... you aren't doing much help on that... you think it happened this weekend, you have no idea waht kind of car it was,
and what is your friend going to do if he finds out who it is... not much he can do

speaking of cops, I ran one off the sidewalk tongiht on my bike, peddle power, but I was flying down broadway and there was a cop on the sidewalk, he jumped onto the street to get out of my way!

Once again I have to step in and defend the "good" cops. Maybe we're just unlucky enough to run into the assholes all the time. I'll tell you now, my old man copped for over 25 years and never once did he just sit on his ass, if you got a ticket, you deserved it. When he first started he got nothing but shit just for doing his job. People talkin' shit about him, makin' up false stories, vandalism (which include a large log thrown through our garage window wihich landed on the car inside plus spraypaint damage to same car a while afterwards, my sisters getting threatened at school I also had my fair share of harassment in school from older kids because he was a cop, and all because he wrote a few tickets to more than deserving recipiants. If anybody thinks being a cop is easy your sadly mistaken. On the other end of things I do agree . There are those that really do nothing, sit on there ass all day, harass people, write bogus tickets and what ever else they can find to do that wastes our time. They hide behind there badge because they feel it gives them power and they can push people around. It's these cops that give them all a bad name. Next time you get pulled over (hopefully not anytime soon) just stop and think about what you did wrong and more than likely you "did" deserve it. If you do feel you are getting screwed don't hesitate to go to court over it, at the very least the judge will get to hear your point of view as to what happened and if all turn out well you will win, not saying you will but it's better than just sitting there complaing about it on a local forum isn't it.

like godbless the Illinois State Policeman that pulled us over on the way back from NY...he had more than enough to throw us in jail but he gave us a warning to help get us through the rest of the state and a much needed goodluck on our way through wisconsin cause "They won't be as nice and forgiving as me"....big props to that guy...

while eating breakfast this morning, it occured to me that going 25-35mph and hitting a curb would do a number on your suspension/tires/frame... perhaps your friend was stupid to lurch out to the way, because then he might have gotten hit and then gotten free repairs -
it won't nessicarily do something to your car. but when he has gotten that car for as less as he did and of good of shape as it in, I would get out of the way if some morons were gonna hit me, I don't wanna take the risk of ending up in the hospitol or anything

im still wondering why this thread has turned to cops...when they have nothing to do with this certain ordeal.
2 cars race, 1 innocent gets ran off the road. where cops fit in, I have no idea cause the innocent one doesnt know how to take license plate #'s.
frankly if i was your friend, i woulda stayed in that lane, gotten rear ended and get loads of free stuff.
