I will make a comment here.

You are asking for potential. Well, Maximas are nice cars. It will get you around great and you will probably like it. If you feel the need to put in a big booming stereo, then it would be a good car for that too.

But then I see you talking about horsepower and such. Well, that is not a car you want to do that to, since you will be throwing money to the wind. If you want a sports car, buy a sports car. Insurance is not as bad as you might think if you shop around.

There are plenty of other cars to look at if you are looking for something "performance oriented". You could go with a small roadster, such as a Miata. There are sport coupes such as an RX7. There are ponycars, such as a Mustang. All these cars should be within your budget.

ask sleepermaxima if maximas have no potential 🙂

At first I did it for fun, then I realized I made the investment and had to do it!

I see, there are plenty of other cars that come to mind far before a 95 Maxima when I think about spending the money and time on supercharging a car.

No doubt Nissan's engines are great, the 3.5 is even better. The maxima is a great car, just not that one.

I would do a carfax on it. Ive driven most of the car there. They are all been beaten on plus they are overpriced.
