is it a bluebird or GTi-R motor?

At first I did it for fun, then I realized I made the investment and had to do it!

the GTiR motor is a good engine . . . the only thing that you go with the better is when it comes to black tops and red tops this engine is a red top. . . and no i haven't seen it but me and scott talked for about two hours about the car and stuff. . But i do believe that the GTiR engine has 225-230hp J-Spec . . But don't quote me on that

yeah i did a little reading up on it last night...it sounds like a pretty straight forward swap with like 5 changes in wires and thats about it....the only thing you have to do is use a JWT ecu and theres only like 1 or 2 companys that make parts for the GTiR motor...but it does have ITBs 🙂

there is another tuning company that does the stuff but mostly for ka's i do believe they do some sr stuff. why can't you use the ecu that came with the motor or wasn't there one like he just got a motor and is using stock stuff in car?

cause the harness in the car plugs into the GTiR motor...so you just use that ECU...idk thats what people just said...

so is this jsut the motor and tranny or a complete swap that comes with the car?

so there isn't a stock gtir ecu inculded
also arent most of JWT ecu's programed for otherstuff done to the motor. like z32maf, injectors, cams, ect.

nope its programmed for the swap...the GTiR motor comes complete but why use the GTiR ecu when you use the stock harness? you have to swap the whole harness then and im not sure it works...

you need to use the special programmed JWT ECU because of all the tuning that needs to be done for it. . the ECU keeps into consideration what is actually in the car. and whom ever it was that asked. its a GTiR engine with tranny but the tranny is an AWD tranny . . .
