Actually, i was referring to sean john. nobody cares if you make 6 digits per year, you bumped a thread from november obviously to tell us about you 50k sign on bonus or whatever, thats great and everything...but 99.9% of this board could probably give a shit less.

But atleast you told us all the oppurtunities that you get from pharmaciticul(however you spell it) and your options. Again congrats, but its kinda ignorant to do it...especially in a thread that died 2 months ago.

Ahh...well my instinct was right, in which case go ahead and refer back to the sarcastic comment I made.

I'm not bragging at all, I could give 2 shits what the majority of the people on this board think of me, I was simply trying to prove a point. I'm not ignorant, nor was I trying to be. College: > money, simple as that.

i dont get what college:> Money means, cause obviously people goto college to get it. People definately arent just goin to college to study, maybe some to party their brains out till they get kicked out and just trash the money.

if you could give 2 shits less....why bump the thread back up? I dont goto college, never will. But it's still common sense to me that goin to college likely would be the better choice, but i hate school, books, studying which is why i didn't go.

Hey, college isn't for everyone! Kirk, can you wash my truck later?? lol. JK

There are a lot of kids in my classes that shouldn't be there, because they are dumb as rocks.

Most people will do better with a degree, however just because you get a slip of paper doesn't automatically mean you are going to make 60k starting because Joe Blow last year started at that.

              seanjohn what is your name?

College is -completely- dependent on what you are looking at doing and what is on the table when you want to go. I was accepted to different schools for different programs, but I can honestly say I -never- wanted to be a computer science major.

For myself, I had an offer on the table before I graduated HS that I turned down, and another one right after I graduated that brought me down here. However to get where I am now has taken a lot of long hours, a lot of experience, and the ability to go "I don't know that, but I should."

I am also in one of the few -PROFESSIONAL- career fields that allows for this. Talent and results means more than paper.

Experience, Talent, and a degree would still be better than just experience and talent.....

Experience and talent are greater than a degree by itself. A degree will open some doors, but the talent and experience is what will take you through them.

Too many variables to argue anyways.

werd...you were lucky to get in somewhere along the lines...most of the time its 2yrs experience or a 2yr degree for the bare minimum...but 9 out of 10 times they will take real world experience over the degree...i sadly have to take the paper route cause i dont have any "in's" to get my experience started...

At first I did it for fun, then I realized I made the investment and had to do it!

A 4 year degree was "Required" for my job, yet noone else was even considered internally or externally in the company when I applied for my current position, even though I don't possess a 4 year degree...or technically, don't even possess a 2 year degree. I'm quite happy with my position 😄

I'm quite happy with my position 😄

I meant as a doctor or dentist, lawyer, etc........I hope they wouldnt hire you without a degree. Like I said before, way to many variables to argue any side. Depends on the field, trade, or skill and there are always exceptions for each rule. The percentages are there to make more money with a degree than without one. Still, there are many people who have smarts/skills/talent to do very well without a degree. Yes chuck, you are a baller....:D (99slowgsx is bowing down).
