Going to be even better this year. We are gonna be promoting the heck out of the swap meet. Hope to make the swap meet there be the largest auto swap meet in ND. The vendor space is gonna be free so all you shops out there, if you're interested let me know. And all you guys with spare parts/cars layin around, bring 'em out.

Also we are talking about getting a Autocross event going during the show as well.

Why don't you join the car club so the autocross gets some more support. It's the only car club in Jamestown that I know of so it would be nice to get some more younger people in it as well. Don't let the "classic" fool ya, if I had my way I would remove that from the club name, since the club is about all things automotive.

It hasnt been discussed too much but they are probably thinking the Civic Center parking lot.

No imports won awards. THe orange cuda and the yellow custom won a couple. that's all I remember. No imports took home awards. Just so you know, I'm not bitching, just stating a fact. I think if they wish to have imports return, they should atleast acknowledge them in the awards ceremony. We BS'd with everyone all day, and everyone stopped and looked at the flashy little ricer cars, but since it was a people's choice award w/o any categories, we had no chance. Everyone did recieve a plaque, which was cool. I will be in contact with JCCC more before the show next year, and maybe help them comunicate with the import scene a little better.

Ya you're right, its exactly like toppers, considering I didnt see ANY of these cars at Toppers last year.

I dont know if you were being serious or cocky here, but it is like toppers. Yeah not same cars but the same style of show and same types of car. In a lil arena. Thats Toppers, and those pictures look like toppers.

That sucks about the trophy stuff. Was there classes at all or was it all one big class? WHat were the classes if they had them??

From the pictures the only thing different that I see is that Toppers has vendors and I dont see in booths in the pics from this show.

Im not goin to sit and compare your photo album from this years winter wheels show to last years toppers car show just cause none of the cars were the same. Either way both shows looked pretty dull...

The sheet of paper that sat in my window says that i was in no judging class, but i dont know if the judging class was filled in on any of the cars. The poster did say 30+ awards in various classes.....

I know they have peoples choice, car, truck, and motorcycle. Then a lot of the other trophies are ones that business/club members make or donate. But it is something we have to change for next year.
