That would be the one. I bought it for winter cruiser and figured i'd sell the eclipse(also bought from same guy) and have a free unit. My friend I got it from put the wires back together, dunno if he got them all 100%. May have somthing to do with that (fuel delivery??) but I havent dug into it too deep yet. Any ideas will help. Thanks!!

I would double check the wiring, I know it was a mess, look for other cut wiring that could have been missed. I beleved that car had aftermarket stuff that was ripped out, so see if that may be affecting it.

But if you can't find it, check the computer for codes. Running like that aught to set some codes off. Do a fuel pressure test and check the injectors, could be stuck/clogged. Since it was listed as vandalism, it wouldn't supprise me if someone put something intersting int he gas. Just me ideas. As long as the enigine is good I say you got a good deal.

Yea, I talked to the original owner, he said it ran awesome, recently had tune up and the only things jacked were the boost gauge and deck. He said no way it's low comp but ya never know. Starter is weak(kicks out) so a new one will be installed tomarrow for comp. test. A-holes had to cut the harness. Thanks for input to all. See what happens tomarrow!

as soon as you start modding you wont stop, then it's gonna crankwalk...keep it stock if you are just gonna use it for a DD/winter car.

They dont crankwalk because you mod them. Its a factory defect that can happen to even BONE stock motors....

Yea I've read about crank walk in 2g's, are they all prone to this??? I can get my hands on a low mile 1g motor incase of thrust washer problems so some small mods wouldnt bother me so any tips would be appreciated. Cant go crazy on this though, got the teg for that.
Oh also lookin for a complete ceter consel, got destroyed while being burglerized..
                    lemme know thanks!

The 95-96 dsms are the MOST COMMON years for crankwalk...as far as if you'll know yours will walk....it happens to some and others never...you just take your chances and hope yours wont 😛

I would definetly get a 1g motor, if you can get your hands on a 6 bolt thats always a good choice 😉

Pulled the plugs and #4 and 2 were super lean while 1 and 3 were fine. If you have any ideas or know of this car lemme know. Mods are Full 3" and HKS bov. THANKS!!!!

How did I miss this thing come in? Guess I was to busy washing those damn GM's

There are some honda's in there to. Not sure if its still there but there was one with a kit, rims and looked really nice. Theres a black 92-95 in there looks like it might have some rota slipstreams on it i might try get those off of it. 😄

                          Don't worry about crankwalk.

If it happens, it happens. Shit, it can happen to alot of different cars. Drive it, enjoy it, and fix it when it breaks.

There's something about DSM's that's addicting and fun... hence why most people who have one, have had atleast a second (or 13 lol)

Dude I love the AWD and the way it feels while driving it(seat position etc.) but still love the hondas for the light weight feel ya know. Not a bad car for DD though I might add. Gettin a new boost gauge and I have a extra boost controller, thinkin bout turnin up boost alittle< what's safe? Without AFC. And about a FCD or cut the MAF??
