that sounds pretty good, any idea on what theyll charge on the dyno?

I think its like $65 for three runs. The dyno will only be going on Sunday. And that is a DSMstyle event. Hop on over there for more details.

The Mitsu Day is on Saturday. It will be a huge open house and a BBQ. The LSE staff will be answering tech questions and anything else.

But you can make a full Mitsu weekend out of it if you are coming from up there. It will be a lot of fun.

      Hey everyone,

I've got some more details about the event. We'll be grilling up burgers, brats, and hot dogs. Food will be however much you want to pay. We'll have a donation bucket there. If you could throw in $2-$5, that would be great.

We will also be doing some serious drag racing in the parking lot.... But before you get too excited, its actually slow drags. There will be two lines drawn about 20 feet apart. The goal is to go from one line to the other as slow as possible without actually stopping. The car that takes the longest wins. We'll have some prize for the winner. So start building up your muscles in your clutch foot. LOL.

Also, there will be a dyno exhibition. We will have one or two Mitsus on the dyno to show it off. These will be some high horsepower monsters.

The highly trained LSE staff will also be giving away a trophy or prize to the best Mitsu. Think of it as a mini car show. Hopefully this means most of you will actually wash your car before coming to the event. (maybe) hehe.

And finally, I've set up a sign up page for the Mitsubishi Day. We would like to get a decent idea of how many people to expect so we can get enough food. The sign up page is at: http://mn3s.zforcenetwork.com/list/?p=subscribe&id=6 So please sign up if you are planning on coming.

      Thanks,
      Curt

The dyno runs will be happening on Sunday during the DSMstlye dyno day. Details on that are at: http://www.dsmstyle.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10810

So basiclly the Mitsubishi Day is Saturday, April 29th. It will include an open house, lots of food and some other fun activities. Then Sunday, the 30th is the DSM dyno day. It would make a really fun weekend for any DSMers from the Fargo area.

            Curt

Thats actually a bad day for anyone local to Fargo/Moorhead as its Interstate Dragways opening weekend and their's test and tune going on here.

"Just because you know it all doesn't mean you can do it all"

"If you can't afford to do it right the first time can you afford to do it a second time?"

LOL @ Kirk. I disagree, if this were a Subie thing I'd probably show up...

1/2 of them won't make it becuase they will be on the side of the road... or they will show up on tow trucks 🙂

Its generally pretty scary attempting to drive a highly modded DSM any sort of long distance...

you guys are totally taking it the wrong way and sort of turning it into a pissing match.

LOL. Thats what I was thinking. He always tells me how know one cares, yet if there is a big Mitsu meet in the Twin Cities there always seems to be someone from the Fargo area who comes. He must really hate Mitsubishis.

And just for the record, I've been doing the All Mitsu Cookout in the Twin Cities for seven years. The last six years there has been at least one person from the Fargo area in attendence. And the long distance award has gone to people in Winnipeg or Chicago the last three years. So even though Kirk doesn't care, there are plenty of others that do.

As far as the Mitsubishi Day at LSE this Saturday, there is also a DSM dyno day there on Sunday. So if you wanted to make a weekend trip to the Twin Cities, it would be well worth the drive since there are two events at LSE this weekend.

                                        Happy boosting,
                                        Curt

                                          Hey everyone,

The Mitsubishi Day is tomorrow (Saturday). I know the forecast looks a little wet for tomorrow, but I hope you'll still come out and play. Besides, I already have bought all the food, and I can't eat 60 burgers and 50 brauts by myself. 😉

LSE has plenty of room indoors and they have a huge overhang that everyone can stay dry under. Plus, if you were dreading having to clean your car for the event, now you are off the hook for that. It will still be tons of fun.

We've got 42 cars signed up to come. See ya soon.

                                          later,
                                          Curt
