If you boys from J-town were able to make it here for the asphalt races, that would be pretty cool. I know it's a bit of a drive, but we can use all the racers we can get. I'll admit, right now, the price is a little high, but this is only the fourth week of this series and we're working on getting more racers to help justify lowering the entry fee.
Right now entry fee is $25, with a one time $5 transponder holder fee(you keep this). Last week, we had 4 "stock" and 10 "improved" bikes show up. All 14 raced together, so there was plenty of traffic and some nice crashes, just ask Turbo50h; quote "I've never had a crash where I scraped up the front of my chest protector before"(his kickstand dug in and sent him over the bars in a corner). When we get at least 5 in each class, they will let us run separate races for the classes. FYI - "stock" requires a stock "50" longblock with any bolt-ons and suspension mods, no motor work, pipe/filter is ok.
We run a 20 lap practice, and 2 20 lap motos. This is on an asphalt oval with a chicane formed by the exit and entrance from the pit area. We have guys with full leathers getting a knee down around every corner except the chicane(too tight).
There are trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in both classes. It starts Wednesdays at about 7pm, registration is at 6:30pm.

maybe this is the wrong thread, but I am really interested in buying one of these, and getting into races. How is financing these puppies? the only reason I sk is because I heard u can finance em for next to nothing, and then I would be able to afford a bunch of parts for it too...
