I've resently bought a 91 Mustang GT and am strongly thinkin about modding it, but I'm kind of wanting it to be dynoed and modded at the same place. If anyone know of anybody that does that or is very good with Mustangs you should let me know. I've been trying to get ahold of DynoTune USA for the last couple month, but he is normaly closed by the time I get done working and has yet to return any of my e-mails so looks like i'm going to try some one else.

What do you want to do to the car? There are a couple of Mustang guys on here; me, 50Stang, Stormwalker and a few others that can help you.

Since the closest dyno, is Dyno Tune, there you go. Maybe take a few extra min out of your day and call him up during his business hours.

HiTech motorsports in the North MPLS burbs would be a good choice I think. Casey knows his way around Fords pretty well, but it probably won't be cheap.

As of right now I'm thinkin 332 stroker with a mild cam and keeping the compression low. Later down the road probly twin turbos, uless it's cheaper than I'm thinking.

Try DB Performance in Rogers, MN. They know high horsepower stangs.

At first I did it for fun, then I realized I made the investment and had to do it!

how much power u looking to make? u could easily make 500 hp with a decent set of heads a custom grind cam and decent single turbo set up, as long as the bottom end is still in good shape,
500 is about all the power ur safley gonna get out of stock block so i dont know if u wanna sink that much money into a stock block

Not 100% sure on how much hp I want, but I am trying to keep it a street car because for now it will be a daily driver.
any idea how much it would be to get a 332 stoker, heads, custom cam, and decent twin turbos (single if it's better).

It looks like you have a pretty quick stang as it is. which one is your DD?

I would pick on to be balls to the walls, and one that is just a fast ride.

The 91 is my DD. I have thid problem with leaving cars stock... Right after I bought the 91 I put full exhaust on it while it still had dealer plates and put in a system.
I don't know if I've been clear enough on this post or not so to try to clear things up.
I'm not looking to make a totle drag car I'm kinda thinkin about making a crazy fast DD for year round. This is for the 91 GT. I'm thinkin 332 stroker, heads, cam custom or not (just somthing with a rough idle), and posible turbos. It needs to be relieable and get alright mileage when I'm not stomping on it.
I am desent with performance on the modular 4.6 SOHC but don't know jack about the 5.0 sence I've only wanted one and picked one up about 4 months ago. Thats why I'm askin you guys with the 5.0s about modding it or not. I've heard the parts are cheaper than the 4.6s and am just looking for prices and where to get the work done as of right now...

I have a 302 block out of an 88 stang, a FRPP B cam, stock cams, lifters, a mexican 302 crank and a couple of other things that I would be willing to part with for a price.

sounds like big dolla's to me, u could prolly do a used single set up for 3k w/ a new turbo

motor prolly 3-5k depends what u get used new stuff high end stuff cheap stuff

then after all that the tranny blows up than right after u get a built tranny in the the rear end shoots parts all over the track

u also have to remeber fuel system isnt cheap bigger mass air a chip for tuning at least

if i was to do it all over again
i would get a built aod tans. 3.73's with a spool and 31 spline axles, adjustable upper and lower control arms
a stock block with girdle stock crank stock rods, better pistons custom grind cam hardend push rods 1.6-1.7 rollers rocker trick flow track heat heads or afr's 185's maybe bigger, prolly a carb intake w/ injector bungs 90mm throttle body 3-4 inch univer blow through mass 42lb injectors better fuel rails 255 fuel pump, and get a decent set of headers and bring the car to sls and have nick make me up a better single turbo set up w/ 67mm-70mm t4 turbo
then wrap it all up with a diablo chip and tuning from dynotune

with decent tires theres no way u couldnt runs mid to high 10's and not exactly brake the bank

if u keep the boost low and make 450-475 hp it sould last a decent amount of time if u keep the rpms down and dont beat the piss out of it everyday and be a decent daily driver, but u gotta keep it off the snow

LIFE'S JOURNEY IS NOT TO ARRIVE AT THE GRAVE IN A WELL PRESERVED BODY, BUT RATHER TO SKID IN SIDEWAYS, TOTALLY WORN OUT, SHOUTING ' HOLY SHIT.....WHAT A RIDE'
