Gotta love slicks! Matt even said the tower lane was squirly on the top half of the track so it wasn't just you all over the track.

I got to the track late today and the first run I saw was the run matt did right after they "re-prepped" the track. At around the 1/8th I could hear/see his ass end breaking loose and all I could think is "shit, that guy has some balls" I would have let off mid heart-attack if that happened to me.

Well the weather was great for racing today and there was a great turnout of ppl and cars. I myself didnt run the best but hard to with a a/f of 10.4-10.6 to 1. My best was a 14.3 with the tires spinning and even ran a 14.4 in 4x4
here is some in car vids I took...you can see I got a little sideways on the first pass..maybe I was trying to cover up John Force's(Matt Fauls) rubber tracks...you can see my rubber in the rest of the passes I forgot to hit record on the 4x4 pass. the last pass Im not sure why the damn tranny shifted in and out

Congrats to Zac, Matt, Kirk, Joe, and everyone else who raced for the first time/ or got their best time. I think yesterday brought a new light to Sport compact drag racing... Maybe next year we'll have a couple 8 second cars, a few 10's, and a ton of 11/12 second cars... Good Job Guys
