She went to west fargo high. I remember her car in the parking lot back then. She was at wal-mart last night she parked one row over from me. I agree the pony wheels should be the first hint that the car is a fake.......to an experienced stang banger.

Not if it looks better i agree the badging part of it the stripes and the window banner are not cool, but the GFX are.

it is to the point in this town that every saleen or rousch stang you see is fake except the 05+ bodystyle one

Its not a fake mustang there is no such thing as a fake mustang. Its either a mustang or its not. Its a saleen clone and I never said i liked the decals, besides since when do you guys object to someone putting a body kit on a car. Oh and for the record there are at least 3 <u>real</u> Saleens in town and 2 <u>real</u> shelby mustangs one of which is a late 60's GT500 vert.

I think anyone with half a brain can figure out that the "fake" he was referring to was it being a fake badged car. Honestly, I'm really sick of you acting like people in our automotive community are a bunch of dip shits. At the track, you introduced yourself to me and seemed like a decent fellow until you proceeded to tell me what I need to do to my car in order to cut better 60 foots. Who are you to tell me what I need to do to my car 2 minutes after I've met you? It seemed like you had good intentions but I took offense to hearing a complete stranger talk to me about the most basic shit on my car as if I was some punk kid with absolutely no knowledge of my car or the basics of drag racing. Anyone who has knowledge of the sport knows that tires and suspension are really important and I sure as hell don't need some complete stranger who owns a stock Cougar to tell me that.
In the future, don't try so damn hard to make yourself seem intelligent by pointing out stupid shit.
BTW, throwing on a body kit is different than throwing on fake badges. A body kit does not necessarily compromise the identity of the car, it usually only modified it's appearance. Fake badging a car is a pathetic attempt to make a car look like a something it isn't.

IIRC....
The automobile in question is nothing more than a GT, with saleen badging. And if memory serves me right there were two little round fog lamps in the front bumper, and a GT rear Bumper cover along with the ugly GT, rear tail lights. All of which are non existent on a "REAL" Fox body saleen. Unless she has added a few things in the past couple of years to it I would assume it looks the same as it did when I she was in high school. I do think it had Flo-masters or some type of after market exhaust.

Whatever i give up you guys just can't take a joke. I'm sorry if i offended you hando but i have been around the block a bit and know a thing or two. I don't mean to come across as a know-it-all, even though I know I always do. My car would be far from stock if I could afford it so all u haters can kiss my ass when it comes to bashing my cat, but i'll post another thread bout that. Whatever that car is or isnt I like the look, minus the stickers, and thats all i was trying to say.
