Is there a real kid? I could argue that the age of consent is 16 in Washington, he really didn't have sex, that it's not illegal to actually have sex with a 16 year-old, but it's illegal to write an email suggesting sex, to show you how crazy America is.Matt Drudge wrote:
And if anything, these kids are less innocent — these 16 and 17 year-old beasts…and I've seen what they're doing on YouTube and I've seen what they're doing all over the internet — oh yeah — you just have to tune into any part of their pop culture. You're not going to tell me these are innocent babies. Have you read the transcripts that ABC posted going into the weekend of these instant messages, back and forth? ***The kids are egging the Congressman on! ***The kids are trying to get this out of him.Sounds to me like the Rightwing talkers are trying to scare any other Pages from coming forward by attacking the character of all the kids in the page program.

I prefer Hannity vs Rush. The biggest complaint I've got towards Hannity is his support for Ann Coulter. I listened to her for about 30 seconds during an interview on some other TV show and gave up (something about claiming Clinton's actions made him literally gay).
I'm also a fan of Scott Hennen (actually going to go visit this week I believe).

It's one thing to help farmers who are actually struggling, it's another to keep subsidizing sugar beet farmers who are multimillionaires when we could be getting sugar cheaper from other countries and in turn help out the American buyer. The average farmer in the red river valley makes between 40k and 55k per year.

You can't deny the fact that most...hell, this is a random stat but i'd be willing to bet 90% of the sugar beet farmers around here are multi millionaires. Look at their houses, farms, equipment, etc...they're NOT hurting by any means. I'd like to see where you got that 40-55k per year number too as I want to know if that includes the money they get after being subsidized.

Yeah i'd be lost too if I only had $2mil in cash...i've never heard of investing or anything like that.

It's also not that simple that they earn 40-55K a year. They're not making that much and still paying taxes on their land/equipment/house and feeding the family and..and..and.. You get what i'm saying? What i'm trying to say is obviously the way they're living is the government is giving them (number is out of my ass here mind you) an extra 100,000 a year to live on while they only have 40,000 in bills, in essence just giving them 60,000 they DONT need to live off of. I'm not saying we shouldn't subsidize them, i'm just saying they're getting way more than they need.
If anything we should be helping out corn growers more as corn does more for the country than just provide revenue via sugar. At least corn can be eaten, used as cattle feed, as well as an alternate fuel source. Far more important than sugar IMO.

You realize that most of the people have not paid off their equipment or land yet either right? Just because you have $2,000,000 in equipment, doesn't mean you can sell it for $2,000,000 profit if you still owe $1.5 million.
