Can't you just buy stock parts and use those?

      sorry about the thread whoring

      ou could, but:

full turbo setup from reputable dealer = 3000+ and makes 230 wheel horse at 19 psi and goes to 7k
full clutch replace and tranny rebuild to handle it = 2500 +
boost control unit = whatever you can find
tuning = same as swap. or price of cobb access port

Biggest drawback is rebuilding for low compression + the 100 hours of work and big lag in turbo setup. generally a straight line only option

Full ready to run JDM "WRX" 2L with 4.44 final drive manual six and mecha LSD makes same horse at 14psi and goes to 8.5-9 rpm safely and uses TMIC and factory low compression setup to full spool around 3k = 4-4500 from a reputable dealer + misc parts + shipping ($500 insured)

^ almost plug and play. If you switch to JDM ECU full swap on a first time estimated time to running = 23hrs. Then tune with all factory setup

Biggest problem is getting ahold of one because they are bought up quickly and you cash on hand to buy. wait list is like 6months to 2 years for an RA
great autocross setup, turn up boost and get a straight line car.

then the answer is yes, but you'd have to completely rebuild. Chuck knows better then I do, and could explain it in more detail, but the block EJ25 are the same, the builds are completely different.
