Taxed to no end, huh? I've never paid higher taxes than I have with Bush in office. Period.
As for punishing the rich, I think its a fair statement to say that the more $$$ you have, the more write-offs you have. the more write-offs you have, the less taxes you pay. Yes, the top 1% of Americans income-wise paid 37% of income taxes in 2004, the lower 50% ($30,100 annual income or less) of wage earners paid 3.3%. However, the top 2% control 98% of the money so porportionally they should be accountable for that amount of the taxes as well.

Who cares what Abe lincoln said, and what does it have to do with our national debt, homeland security, and the fact healthcare in this country is non existent.
