I already posted what I get, but here it is again. I have a 4x4, etc. It gets 18-21 mpg on the interstate...going 80 mph, depends on the winds.

thats what i dont want lol.

and yea, im highly looking into s10s.

about once a month ill be going up to winipeg, and i'd like to get decent milage. (my trip is paid for anyway... but still.)

91nbtsi - lol i didn't go back and check. mah bad. thanks tho. I would just go 2wd. I don't care much for 4x4 beings i can either take my parents truck or their suburban. Both of which are 4x4 so.. 2wd get me around 23 im guessing?

I would'nt even think about it if i'm towing 4000 lbs or more its gotta be full-size with a V8 or a diesel. The S10 is a capable rig no doubt if you pulling a 2000 pound honda, but the 4.3 make little or no torque under 2000 revs if you're towing thats where you need it, plus there are tounge weight considerations, transmission cooling issues. I just would not do it unless i wanted to know where the weak links are. If you're gonna do it get the trans filter changed, flush the whole thing not just the pan, and get a good cooler.
