Big fucking deal. Sure, there are a hand full of guys out there that preach for Honda auto trannies, but they sure are few and far between, Tell me this...why do NONE of the guys in the drag racing section on Honda-Tech mess with the auto transmissions? Alot of those guys are deep into the 10s and 9s and if Honda auto trannies were as good as this suspendedHatch guy claims, a lot more would be using them.

People told me back in the day that I'd wreck my auto tranny in my Accord and I didn't listen either. Guess what...they were right and I was wrong. You'll be getting an "I told you so!" from me if you put any real power on an auto Civic.

Why does it have to be an 00 vs a 99 or even 96-98......but you should have converted the SI to an auto. I had a perfect auto tranny for that car. That would have been unique, B16 auto....

i want a 2000 because all my other cars have been 2000's. and i didnt convert it to automatic because i didnt and dont want a DOHC

why a honda? Get something thats already turboed or supercharged. There are tons of automatics that come boosted from the factory.
