I have had my fair share with the law. Basically the cops are all out there to do there jobs. Some cops take advantage of there jobs. Others do what they think is right in some situations. Cops are not always out to get you like you think they are. Just think, if the cops werent out patrolling all the time then a bank could get robbed and innocent people could get killed and by the time the cops showed up the criminals would be gone. Now, there are certain cops that just like to give tickets because they can. Like my situation with me being busted for marijuana. I beleive that I was pulled over for no reason. The police responded to a call because there was a suspicious vehicle in the area. That suspicious vehicle was described to be a black new model Grand Am with dark windows, blue headlights, and a loud exhast. Obviously not me. But when they saw my car it had blue headlights and a loud exhaust so they figured I was somehow affiliated with this person. They pulled me over because I had no license plates. But my registration tag was in my window. Either way I got in trouble for doing something wrong and there is nothing I can do about it. I'm not bitching about the police because of what I did. I know it was wrong. Cops pull cars over that are doing "wrong" things. But sometimes cops pull cars over because they can. I have had plenty of tickets I didnt deserve and plenty of tickets I did deserve. So, I beleive that there are some cops out there that do there jobs right and some cops out there that abuse the privelages they have.

Police can stop a vehicle if they have reasonable cause. youngin2nr, look at it this way, the police can't be sure that the person that called in the suspicious vehicle can identify a make/model correctly. Both vehicles are cars, blue headlights and loud exhaust. If I were in his position I would probably have done the same. One can also assume that it was probably obvious that you were driving under the influence as well which gives them more reason to pull you over based on your driving.

Its pretty sad that i dont even do drungs and i know were to get them at any time..... Im mean seriously... They say we have a drug problem, but go drive through the slum parts of town... I've personally never had to deal with the police in any way, but I suppose I can retell the story I've told a few times on here already.
Two weeks before Christmas 4 years ago, my mom's car got stolen. She reported it right away and got in contact with the detective that was assigned to her case. A week later they got a call from someone reporting a car all beat to shit and left in a field north of town. The car of course was my mom's. It had a bunch of papers in the trunk that belonged to a woman who was previously convicted of stealing cars. The police had actually been to her house the day before to question her about a different case.
Was anyone charged with anything? Nope. Did anyone do anything after the car was found? Of course not. My mom talked to the detective and he told her that he was "working on it" and that he would call her when he found something out. After that he stopped answering her calls and never returned them when she left messages.
Maybe it's just me, but I think finding a car thief is more important than pulling over random vehicles and hoping to make a bust. Especially when the thief is someone who had been convicted of doing the same thing previously, and is dumb enough to leave evidence in the trunk of the car they stole.

I was reading this thread today in my spare time and on one post it mentioned something about how some people hate it when they sit there and whine and complaine about the instances they have with their pull overs....call me crazy but it looks like that is all this thread is...just ragging on cops and complaining about tickets...that cop is probably enjoying himself...If he were anything like me, I like seeing other people squirm about...

jesus... your a genius kid taunting the cops cause you carry wow.. ok they carry bigger and more most likely and they have this nifty thing called a vest and experience that would most likely PWN your ass in a gun fight. so no the fact that you have your concealed carry probably is a non-issue as a matter of fact i am willing to bet that its a non-issue.ive had some bad some good when it comes to cops ive deserved every ticket ive gotten in one form or another i fucked up.. but at the same time when my stereo got jacked or when my ex flipped her lid and tried to kill me the cops done disafuckinpeared so i have little or no respect for the bpd but the fpd was always pretty decent to me.

Wrong. Most cops carry 9mm's, wussy ass rounds compared to a .45, .40, 10mm, .357mag, .44mag, etc... Also statistics have shown police are HORRIBLE in gunfights, they miss like 90% of shots fired in real life shooting situations. Sure it's still probably a non issue, but the police for the most part are no better with a gun than Joe Schmoe.

a little quick to judge there.... were in my post did i say i was going to get into a shoot out? im not going to throw my life away.... and im not a violent person.... its my right to own a gun.... and i got a license to garry that gun if i choose.... i dont walk around with it... i mearly leave it in my truck.... i also live out in the middle of nowere, remember when those people killed that guy and cut his head off over drugs..... that was a mile away from my house.... i never know what im going to run into around here.... people come out to my part of the counrty all the time and do/deal drungs. and frankly i dont feel safe with meth heads (wich the PD dosent seem to catch) driving around out here... and another thing, why would i announce to the world what i carry around.... its none of you buisness as well as the next guys.... but i will tell you its none of that pussy ass 9mm shit..... and dont fucking call me a kid.... and dont be so quick to judge....
