Just out of curiosity, why would it be the intake?

At first I did it for fun, then I realized I made the investment and had to do it!

Don't get an intake, just get a high flow filter.

And I highly doubt the intake is causing the problems, probably a vacuum line or solenoid. Either way, have it inspected by a shop, don't trust the internet to fix all your problems. Just have your dad pay the Mitsubishi dealer to have it fixed.

An intake will help 10-15 hp over stock.. Fuck the drop in filter thats gay. If you over boost there is one of 3 problems

                          1. Cut vac line to the wastegate, or hose off. Also could have the vac lines on wrong.

                          2. ECU has been re-flashed by a retard..

                          3. Boost control is set up wrong or defulty

Im pretty sure I could fix it but id have to charge you!

                          My .02

O ya I dont work on cars.. good luck..
