Obviously different classes/preparation levels have different restrictions.it could also be the shifter for the trans too. ive seen some that are that high up and right next to the steering wheel so they dont have to move so much

Fact: First recorded time that drift was predominatly used in a sanctioned race, that race was not a drift race. In 1984 Keiichi Tsuchiya won a Japanese formula 3 race using drifting alone, but he has been quoted to say that "I drift not because it is a quicker way around a corner, but it is the most exciting way".

i drive in ditches alot...if you look at all my pics you can see the snow in there before i was even driving on that road......sorry i should call it subaru drifting..the rears still spin faster than the front so all four tires wont face the same direction....still better than a evo could do
