This guy I work with wants to sell his bike and get a Harley. He doesn't exactly want to take this bike to the Dealer, and quite frankly they told him they don't want his rice-rocket. As for the Bike...

It is a 2002 Suzuki Bandit GSF-1200S with 4970 miles on it. It is in excellent shape, and the only imperfections are some scrapes on the rear plastic. They aren't scratches, it looks like a boot mark or rubber that rubbed against the plastic. If you look at the pic on the engine, the bottom shows wear from his boots rubbing against it. Anyhow, it also has a tank bra, neon kit, rear cargo net, and Bike cover. Removal of the neon lights is easy if you choose to do so. It is a simple bike that has always been dealer serviced on a regular basis, has a fresh battery and in MINT condition. Again, here are some pics, but email me if you want more.

I'd like to run 13's at the track too. But, I'll just drive 4 hours to race and find out the track is closed because of snow... .WTF? I had all season tires! (I'm bitter because my weekend was ruined.)

I have tried tinting before.... It is well worth my time to pay someone else to do it! Back home (South Carolina), yes it is less, but I think they are probably ripping themselves off to undercut their competition. They also may be buying a lot more tint, and getting a little discount there too. It isn't like 50% cheaper... maybe 25% cheaper. Just my .02.

It surprises me that the Mustang/LT1 guys didn't think of using Turbos 10-15 years ago. They seem to run extremely fast with them. That was a nice run. Didn't you say the interior was all there? Is your suspension similar to what he is running (mius the wheelie bar.)?

How is the track prep at Sabin?

Anyone know how strict the track is on battery tie down. I have the stock one in my car, but I know that the track here in Minot will ask me to get a new one. They will still let me run though.

I would say it all depends on what you want out of it. In the six years I have been in, I have a TON of cool training, a Top Secret Security clearance, free Associates and Bachelors degrees (Now working on Graduate degree). I got to travel all the way to Minot, ND from Myrtle Beach, SC OUCH!. Overall, my experience has been good. Due to the nature of my career field, I don't deploy though. You will do that in the Army and most likely you will be in the middle of everything. Not saying I wouldn't do it, but it is nice to know I am coming home every night to see my daughter.
