Aberdeen Autocross and Car Show FRI.28th-SAT.29thIt turned out really good we had 45 cars running with trophys and plaques given away. Overall it was a good time, had some food vendors out there and the highway patrol with their rollover simulator and the morocycle burnout contest. Were trying to get another event in this year but if we dont we will hit it hard for next years planning.

Aberdeen Autocross and Car Show FRI.28th-SAT.29thI'm just copying this off sportcompactz.com... its also posted on sioux fall racing. Please stop by and show off your ride meet some new people and enjoy the events.
Ok, I got it all taken care of, all official and stuff. It should be roughly a 45 second course, one nice little straight away, should be a blast! Parking area for competitors, there is a $10 dollar entry fee, but that covers all day, and that's just to cover some dash plaques and trophies.

Trophies for:
Fastest overall
Fastest Girl, 1st and 2nd place
Fastest pre 1972
Fastest Corvette
Crowd FavoriteMaybe a couple more, we'll see how funds allow. I'm doing this all for free, so I don't want anyone thinking I'm making anything off of this!
IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!
THIS IS NOT A DRIFT COMPETITION! We've had to work out asses off to even LET the city do this, so I'm gonna be PISSED if someone comes in and thinks they are the Drift King and slides into something and the city says "No more" for next year. So come, have fun, if your tires squeak obviously that's no biggie. Smoking them on purpose around a corner, or repetitively? You can go home.Things required for competition:
Battery secure
Seat belts
No loose stuff in the cars AT ALL! we'll have parking spots for you, bring a tote to put stuff in.
No helmets required, but you can if you want.
NO AIR CONDITIONING in the staging lanes, I don't want water all over the course.
Check tire pressure, cars with low tires will not be allowed to run. I'll be teching cars, I just want it to be safe, and people to have fun!
No leaking fluids, for above reasons. Guess no Eclipses will be running hahahahaha j/k
Lug nuts tight, and decent tires. You can start running at 3pm, and we have to be done at 10pm. PLEASE Tell your buddies, dads, neighbors, whatever, I WANT LOTS OF CARS HERE!!!! Old stuff, new stuff. Let them know that 50's cars will only be running against 50's cars, and that it will be SAFE, and it's not hard on thier cars! Please help me out, I've been working my butt off on this, so I could use some help!
Please post this on SuFu racing and any other sites you can think of, let's get some people here, it should be a blast!!

There are a few turbo's that will work depending on what part of the 600-700hp range you are looking at. GT4088, PT67, PT71 all good choices. You pay a lot more for the BB, not sure if it's worth it.I would say closer to 700hp range with working the turbo to hard, and also something thats not too outragious on the street when it hits boost. If there not a huge difference in price between ball bearing and journal I would go with the bb for a faster spool.
Thanks, Nate

Turbo Sale!!Hey Dave, I'm going with a usdm 2jz-gte swap in my 89 Supra instead of building up the 7m. I was wondering if you get a price on precision turbos? Ill be keeping the stock internals (at least for a year or 2) I'm looking for 600-700hp, I think a PT67 would be enough or go with a GT4271 it must be ball bearing. Let me know which setup I should go with and what kind of prices you can get.(pm if you want)
I'll also be going with a WOTM exhaust manifold. tial 44, greddy 3 or 4row front mount, and upgraded fuel system.
Thanks, Nate
