another best swap threadThis maybe not what your thinking of but a 4g63 would be a cool swap... i am for sure doing one in my starion, just got to go pickup a wideblock 4g63 out of a junkyard, starion trans bolts right up to it. The parts are readily available... anyway just wanted to put my 2 cents in.

Website on how to do the swap
Good luck -
need inputMy advise would be go and buy/rent a compression tester to check the compression, and always check the cv joints for rips or leaks. Anything with less than 100,000 mi is good, i dont know to much about the 420a if a non turbo is what your looking for. Try the many dsm sites if you havent already lots of good info there. Good luck

Need some ideas!I don't recommend a conquest because you will become addicted to it. There are a total of 4 that i know of now in the area. I got mine on E Bay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1988-Chrysler-Conquest-4-cylinder-turbo-Repair-or-Parts_W0QQitemZ7988632774QQcategoryZ6763QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
and i drove it home on 1 injector... got a different injector and it runs like a champ. Plus the guy was old and he thought injectors were 200 bucks. Thats why i got it so cheap. There around you just have to look. -
All Mitsu Cookout -- August 21, 2005 -- Rogers, MNI was wondering if any one wanted to drive my 240sx from the show to fargo, I have to pick up my 1988 Chrysler Conquest that im buying 30 miles west of Rodgers and i need some one to drive my 240 home otherwise i have to park it at the nearest greyhound station and pick it up later. (i hate riding greyhound) Let me know if anyone wants to do it. It would help me out a lot.
Thanks -
