Tearing into my 68 fastback mustang this winter and going to completely upgrade all the suspension and motor this winter. Debating on throwing a 03' 4.6 cobra motor in or just spending the money and throwing an 07 GT500 motor in it.

Alright, So its late and maybe not thinking very clear but I was thinking about throwing a RB25 or 26 in it. Stupid idea?

I think i can get by cheaper doing it this way. I want to keep the Engine swap to less than $10k. 500 <u>RELIABLE</u> HP is my goal. Input please.

all you would need is to rebuild motor, a 3 bar map sensor, Ignition amp, and EMS and you would have a very fast car. If you choose a Power FC I still have all my maps I could send to you if you went the Power FC route. I dynoed at 466RWHP SAE 2 years ago. I ran an 11.87 (spinning tires) at Sabin and 11.54 at BIR (spinning tires); both were done with 1st gear burnouts. This car is an easy sub 11 car if you can get traction. The car is painted Daytona blue and overall looks all right. There are a few chips in the paint and the paint was only applied to the exterior and door jams. Under the hatch is still red and the engine bay has quite a few nicks from removing and installing the motor several times. Shoot me an email, pm or call if you have any questions.

Just found this. cheap and probably wont take more than an hour to build including running to the store. Its not too technical nor will it give me in depth analysis however it will let me know if the injector is stuck or not.

I think one of my primary injectors is stuck open. just curious where to get them tested/repaired/cleaned.

doesnt matter to me as long as I get a heads up a week in advance. My schedule fills up fast.

I just got some. nitto NT05R. Still feeling them out. I know for a fact that I am not warming them up enough. My best run only had a 1.8 60'. there is still lots of room for improvement. Ill be out there again next month. hopefully be below that 11.5 mark.
