Questions about my Subaru.Hey guys, just needing a little info. I bought a 2008 Subaru Legacy a couple months back and now we finnaly got some snow. I was out in the snow this past weekend and of course the roads were not plowed at time especially by my house the snow got pretty deep. But anyways... my car has to sit outside and it seemed every time I would start it and try going the car was froze... I would then have to give it some gas and it would break free... Is this normal? I guess I have never owned a AWD car and my previous Impala did not do this in the same type of conditions. Thanks for any input.

To answer your question, it doesn't make the tint look bad, it just makes the glass look bad. And because there is dark tint behind it, the scratches will be much much more noticeable than if they're not tinted at all. You'd be surprised at how many people bitch and complain about how their windows look after they are tinted. It's not because the tint looks bad, its because the windows are all scratched up from rolling up and down, or using metal scrapers. A word of advice would be don't use a metal scraper, only use plastic.Thank you! Exactly the answer I was looking for

tintingI guess the only reason I am wondering is because my moms van with factory tints windows are scratched up really bad from what I believe to be the scraper... Thanks for the input!

The film actually gets applied to the inside of the windows.Yea I understand that. I'm saying when you scrape your windows you might scratch your glass... is there a specail scraper to use? I know that the glass on my srt was scratched from factory... it shows up on the tint as a not as dark area... nothing to do with the tint or the tints fault... it is the glass... I'm saying if you scrape your glass in the winter will that scratch the glass and in turn make your tint job look bad... yes the tint will still all be there but will it show in the glass?
-
tintingI also have a question... say you tint your windows. I know the film is on the outside but can you still scrape your windows in the winter or will this scratch the glass in turn making the tint look bad?

Worst first carThe first car I learned to drive was a 2000 Dodge Caravan. I guess that is not as shitty as some but it def. is pretty lame to drive. Everytime you would ever remotely try to get on it something would happen to a sensor in the tranny and it wouldnt want to shift right anymore haha. Drove it many miles, back in forth from Sauk Centre to Bismarck as well as to Chicago... all with my learners permit... of course my parents were present.

My first car was my SRT-4... although I have had two other dailys since then.

Degges class = easy when you have lrl1990 as your group partner. Landon's a stats guru:icon_thumright:LMAO not so much... the class wasnt that bad... the project kinda sucked cause it took so much time. Without your adding figures on the data and printing our stats project wouldn't have gone very well either so give your self some props to.
