im not sure what it is...i guess being around fast cars or reading about them makes most of our resident ricers think they can run with eggums civic by just swapping in a stock sr20det into their s13. it used to be the dsm owners with

well it seems drift king has been causing shit on other forum boards as well so i thought i would speak up.
jeremy, has been given more chances to shape up and contribute to more forums then i'm currently a member of. he is and forever will be a overconfident shit talker with nothing better to do then stir everyone up. i would like to clarify that sioux falls definitely does not claim him, if we could he'd be deported.
Unfortunately in south dakota we have some fairly larger cities(for the midwest location) and with them come kids like jeremy. I've tried everything i know of to deal with him. But i'd rather not commit a crime to silence him.
On siouxfallsracing we have blocked him from becoming a member again. he has his friends, what little of them there are, and they too have been blocked. i would just reccomend that fargostreet mods do the same. rest assured not all of us in sioux falls or south dakota for that matter think 13.0 is lightining fast. trust me, my integra is exactly there at this point.
I'm good friends with the crew at excessive and i see a lot faster and a lot bigger hp cars around all the time. i know i could never run with them just as i know i could never run with the sls cars, be it the hatch, the integra, joe's evo or any others. fyi, excessive is not building a motor at this current time for jeremy, nor do i forsee them ever doing so. sorry for the long rant...just tired of seeing one f*ckin retard ruin the name of the state for the rest of us.

for the street legal events we usually go to 11:30 or so...our first event 2 years ago drew 113 cars plus another 80 spectator vehicles i think we went until 12:30 we have no noise ordinance laws as the track is out in the country so that helps.
the no electronics is such a wide area. basically you cannot run a dial box. most of you have see where a rail car will lauch really slow and basically put for the first 80 feet or so then take off like crazy. thats a boxed car.
but you can run a two step and stuff like that without problems.
rules are you need a battery tie down, IHRA said its supposed to be at least 1/4rod with a half in wide strap. if you have a relocated battery then you need an appropriate batter retainer and cutoff switch.
you need to have an adequate radiator over flow tank,
brake pedal needs to be somewhat firm,
snell 90 or better helmet
slicks require extended wheel studs
rwd cars need a driveshaft loop
11.49 -10.00 requires a 6 point cage.
i know having interstate dragways right there reason enough to not venture out of the city too much for racing but i did notice that they do charge you guys 60 bucks to race up there so i figured with the extra 35 bucks most of you can use that to drive down here to sioux falls then head out to marion for a change of scenery.
A group of us at sfr started the street legal drag events 2 years ago and they have shown good success. on avg about 60 cars but if its good we've seen it as high as 100 cars going down the 1320'. plus a lot more spectators, cars, beer, chicks you guys know what its all about.

edit* we also have established a sport compact class, basically its for anyone thats in the how to say, tuner scene. not limited to number of cylinders, power adders, or choice of drive wheels. its set up as a bracket race with usually enough cars to go 4-5 rounds of eliminations. i also know that this will most likely be the year that the sport compact track record falls. theres a good number of high hp local cars that made some tuning passes towards the end of the year and should be ready to go. as well as the sls guys from fargo.
