BTW, I do plan to do some autocrossing when I get her tuned and running up to her full potential. Also hope to make the occasional pass in Sabin.

yet another noobdamn, not too many people seem to care for this scherling dude. lemme guess, he believes he is holier than thou just because he has an FD? Yeah, it's an awesome car, but they cost a lot of money to mod and you have to be meticulous w/ the maintenance. Anyways, it doesn't matter what kind of car you drive if everyone thinks you are a dick. My license plate says UNVMY7, but it's all in fun. Besides not too many people are envious now, since it's limpdicking around town on a spare due to a bent rim. (But I got three of my wheels today and the other should be here tomorrow)

Pretty nice looking. What are the sizes and offsets?
Thanks. They are 18 x 8.0 x 45mm offset. -
yet another noobThanks to all who made suggestions on the wheels. I actually decided to go with a used set of SSR Integral A2's. I was hoping to go with the classic 5 spoke look and these wheels do it perfectly. The guy who sold them to me is very particular about his car, so they were in excellent condition. Here's how they looked on his FD.

Welcome and very nice ride. I'm from grand forks too... you on campus at all??Thanks. Actually I live just on the other side of the interstate. I'll be back in school this summer. Just got back from Iraq in Feb so I'm kinda just chillin' and workin' at getting the FD runnin' right.

I'm from GF. Should be in Fargo plenty though, still have lots of friends there and I'm planning to go down for a concert or two at the RRV Fair. Need to get wheels on her though, just bent a damn rim. -
yet another noobJust got my FD. Needs some work, not sure which way I'm gonna go w/ the body yet, nothing to radical though. Too nice of a car to ruin with a bunch of cheap looking shit. I know I'm ditchin the front lip and maybe even changing out the sideskirts. Probably go JDM '99 spec with most of the body. Shopping around for wheels right now.

we have only done a few engines on the rotoray that needed more then just the apex seals...check out what you can get for performance with the 3 and even the 4 rotor race motorsJust picked up an FD after my tour in Iraq. Anybody looking to do a multi-rotor (3 or more) better have some bottomless pockets. I think Pettit racing does a 3 rotor conversion for something like 25 g's. The motor itself isn't that expensive, but to correctly convert you have to move the whole drivetrain back and that involves serious bodywork. And I think there are only a handful of 4-rotor race motors out there, the few that are owned by Mazda, and I think Scoot is working on a project now. Hell even if you are playing w/ only the 2 rotor, go online and see what mods cost compared to the same mod for say a civic. I love mine though. I'll never sell, the bank'll have to take her first.
