I dont lock my doors while driving exept when I am in some rougher parts of the cities, pretty much the same places you don't bump your system. no need to attract attention. And also I am with ya on the auto locks being annoying and pretty much the only way you can lock your keys in your car because the system goofed and locked when it wasn't sposed to.

I have a lead on an Escort Wagon for $200-250 that needs a bit of work. Body wise it's dinged up a bit, scratched but not rusted out. Owner says it needs an axle, I'm assuming it needs a CV joint. I know nothing more about the car except that the engine runs good (needs to get jumped now), new alternator, fuel pump. Sounds like it could be a decent beater or rally car with just a bit of work. PM me if you're interested and I'll get you an address of where you can see it and/or talk to the owner.
