Would a 30 x 9 slick be legal?

Just for informational purposes do you know if just going down the track is considered racing or does it have to be an actual competition? What I am trying to say is if you just show up at a street legal or test day and just run your car down the track would they consider it racing?

I lied I was almost done. To anyone thinking I will get away with it how would they know if I raced or not. Remember this is a different time. You have no idea who is taking pictures or what website they may be posted on. The thought that anything is private now days is a joke. When you show up at a public place ( the track is privately owned but open to the public) To race your car you give up all your rights to privacy on the issue.

Every new car (or used car) warranty states right on them that racing voids the warranty. Any one pulling the stunt this person did deserve to be charged with fraud. Racers have been fighting for years to clean up our reputation. Moves like this do absolutely nothing to help the cause.
Charlie it is good of you to try and help the racers as much as you can. But be very careful to not get drug into this. We don't need some overzealous lawyer to decide you were an accomplice after the fact.
I would suggest maybe adding a sign on the way in reminding people that racing will void your warranty. This may lose you a couple of racers here and there but it would do wonders for protecting you and the track.
I only made it out once to race and it was a short stay but It looked to me like you are doing a good job out there. I was pleased enough that I am working on getting our other car back together to do some bracket racing with you guys next year. I would hate to see some one jeopardize your business in any way.
Ok enough of a rant for now. Everyone have a safe winter hope to see you in the spring.

I have seen way to many people that have issues with VP passing fuel check. I have never once had a problem with fuel check using Sunoco. Not that there is fuel check to run at Top End. But I prefer not to have to completly flush the sysytem before I go to a race that does have fuel check.

We also found on the dyno the VP did not make any more power than the Sunoco. Not to mention it is close to half the price.

Does any one sell race fuel at the track? I am looking for some Sunoco race fuel Can get by on some thing else if need be.

Glad you have decided to try again. I will do every thing I can to make the next one. I did get out to watch Saturday. Looked like the track was working pretty well. All the S/SS racers I talked to had good things to say. My only complaint was the person on the mike that talked about every thing but dragracing. That andthe lack of being able to hear the pa unless you were right infront of one.
Over all looked like you are doing a good job. Hope to be out with the car and meet you in person soon.

What are the hours? I may have some one to help at either the concession stand or the ticket booth.

Not to sound like I am knocking any one but are the times normally much faster than last weekend?

What are the rules for running the quick 8?

What is the plan for the Stock/Superstock combo weekend? Will there be seperate races each day or qualifying Saturday and race Sunday? What is the entry and payout?

That is a big draw back of the yearly tech. Even on one weekend I seen a car tech in on Saturday sporting a 350 running 12.30 or so on sunday (still running same tech card) had a big block running in the nines. No roll bar or any thing. He did not get many passes before they cought on but could have been very uggly.

So my stocker has no insurance no mufflers and permenent numbers (they could be gone if need be) on the window. Other than that it is factory stock looking. Clean paint not all decalled up. Would it be allowed? Basically I have a all new combination and need to try and check it out before the S/SS weekend and I have a limited time to make it out to a regular race.

What are the rules for running the street legal events as far as the car goes. Does it need mufflers license or insurance?

Just wondering if you have ever spoke with DeWayne Engness? You may want to that man could make the track hook no matter what the weather. He had his own concoction that he mixed up. At the time he ran the place they were averaging near 200 cars a race day. May be a good person to sit down with.

Just curious I did not see any thing about bike or sled classes listed on bracket weekends. Is there no bike/sled class any longer? I could do with out the sleds. But back many years they used to get a good turn out of bikes (before sleds were added). I enjoyed watching the bikes.

I seen on the classracer form there will be S/SS combo the 18th and 19th of June. That is great. Is the rest of the schedule finalized yet?
