Yeah, After reading many reviews it sounds like a lot of trouble and a money pit, I'll just be lookin for a TSI next summer and enjoy the slow ass ride that fallows behind the 1.8 for now. I was also wondering does anyone know about hacking the air can of the 1.8s? I know there is really no change but I hear it makes it louder so if anyone has somekind of instructions PM me please. Hey, I got a P.O.S. 1.8L in my Talon and was wondering if the 2.0 would almost drop right in? I plan on waiting till next summer or untill engine blows to do the task and I probably won't be attempting to do it myself. I bought it with an engine with a blown headgasket, decided to rip it out, because i was going to make it a 5-speed and its just a deal that fell through. so i have yet to drive the car myself.

Well I guess it depends on how ya want it? did you want it running or did ya want both engines and both trannys? cause if it were to be running it would be automatic.. so get back to me and i'll give ya a price.

Yes i bought it from gateway. I have yet to drive it. It is the JDM motor that has the blown head gasket.

Hey, I am selling or trading my 89 240sx. It is Automatic but I have 5 speed tranny. Right now i have 2 engines beside my house, one is full with around 35,000 miles (ka24) The other is a Ka but has a blown headgasket.. I'm not fully sure if the one with 35,000 is completely perfect but the other should have the parts to make it work. Both the trannies are sitting outside of my house aswell. I could probably make it run as automatic but if i leave em out it would be easier for you to do the swap and everything. It would probably take me a little bit longer to put in all the auto stuff but i could. Right now i am just taking offers, and i know its hard to make an offer on something you can't see, so i will try and get pics up before i go to bed. For a trade i am looking for an 88-91 civic hatch or not doesn't really matter. But if ya have anything else i'll take it into consideration. thanks
