Hmm. I heard they also haven't done updates and were beggin you to do the updates for them..
Where are you hearing all of this??

Wouldn't MNSubaru be considered a some what
local forum?? So that is how they ended up there. And although i don't think that they should have been posted here, it really isn't anyone elses fault since they do have the right to post those pictures here since they aren't the reason they are on the internet.
The pics posted on mnsubaru were not the ones posted here. The car was in every shot on that thread, and there were no nipples at all. It was something that you would have seen in an import magazine.
The pics posted on mnsubaru could have been seen on fox.

no 1 cared b4 when they were first posted.. i don't understand, and btw steve-o; didn't you start mnsubaru? that's what i heard.. ppl that run that now are dousche's...
I didn't "start" it. It was around long before I had a subaru.
I redesigned the website (even though now it's lacking), moved it to a working forum software and transferred the current database, moved it of a cable modem to a host that could handle the load.
I don't want to stroke my balls, but I would like to think I helped it make the jump from 200 members to 700+. It just got too big, too fast. Some drama happened, I stepped down (actually was asked by Justin), warned for posting the pics talked about in this thread, and then was banned for hacking the site.
Nothing like spending hours (we're talking 20+) on a website only to be banned from it a couple months later with no compensation at all.

Well now they now how they got on offtopic.com and mnsubaru, you responsible for supra forums and mustang site to then?
No. I posted them on offtopic, then later that night mnsubaru. The internet took care of the rest.
I'm not even a member on the other sites.

lmfao... i love how you admit it but still whine bout Fargostreet and how they made it "blow up"... Why would you think that somethin on the interenet would not get passed around?? Kinda funny since you always update the sti pictures it seems like so you should know that shit happens like this...
nah, that was sarcasm. I've been on the internet long enough to know how that goes down. However, I was kind of suprised to see the negativity it brought. I was expecting the obvious trends (e.g. last post with bag on head), like all the other forums had, but not quite the "omg tintmasters will go under for those pics!11!".
I actually got banned from mnsubaru for posting those pics there, not even the nip slip ones either, but yea these pics are old.
oh well, I had a good time with this one, hope everyone else has too. (referring to the last couple threads)
Look for an actual model with the STi next time

i dont see how it is fargostreets problem. It is more your problem and if i was your employer i would make damn sure you didnt have a job tomorrow. How can you think it is a good idea? Did you have her permisison to post it on the internet? Do you think she likes 100,000's of people distributing her picture? again not fargostreets problem......
umm... I really don't work for tintmasters. Never have. Probably never will.
Yup, Sarah knew it was gonna get posted on the internet.
Did you even read my post? First 5 words were: It was all my fault. and pretty much everything after that was all sarcasm.
It was all my fault. I took the pictures, originally hosted the picture, originally posted the pictures on OT. It was a good idea at the time...
I'd first off like to thank everyone on FargoStreet, especially Unibomber, for blowing up something that wasn't and still isn't a big deal.

If you read this we can talk about my continuing employment tomorrow. I didn't expect it to turn out this way and I hope we can work through these troubled times.

Your concept is wrong in this application. You are not moving the weight of the vehicle you are moving the weight of the drums which remains the same from vehicle to vehicle so vehicle weight is irrelevant.
Could be. But why do people get such different results at RS then?
Edit: Ehh nevermind... I think I got it now.
I still want to know why RS's dyno can produce such drastic differences between cars though.
94NDTA wrote:
I'm confused on how weight has anything to do with it. Could someone explain?
A car that weighs more is given more load to overcome. It's because if your car did weigh 5000 pounds, the dyno simulates your engine moving 5000 pounds. Then some dyno's (I believe only the mustang) will add load based on an aerodynamic factor @ 50mph. So as the car accelerates load is added to compensate for the car not moving through the air.
If you set like a normal Honda on a dyno and say it weighs 8000 pounds, it probably won't be able to move the rollers at all. And a dyno uses how fast the drums are spinning to calculate the torque/HP.
Setting any parameter wrong will greatly affect how a dyno reads. Most of the companies that make dynos that everyone knows come with specific cars parameters already set for most cars...
Cliffs: I have no idea how it works.
DaveH wrote:
Second, I think that the numbers that the dyno puts out is important. If it reads higher or lower than a mustang dyno, a dynojet dyno, etc will be important (at least to some people) because then you can compare the HP that others are making with similar mods and tell if you are way off in your tune. What is the solution to this? I'm not sure.
I had an excel spreadsheet not to long ago where you put the number that you made and it showed what that was equal to on other dynos.
You can make a dyno read anyway you want, it's a matter of entering weight. RS motors knows this first hand.
How come tjamz with an Auto WRX and an 18g (dont know the other mods) can make 310whp on their dyno. Then my friend erik with a slowboy racing 20g, every bolt on imaginable, with "the best UTEC tuner in US" tuning only makes 303whp?
tjamz = 19psi
erik = 25psi
You can make a dyno read whatever way you want. It's seriously all in the weight, changing that makes the biggest difference possible.
Didn't want to pick on anyone, just needed an example.
EDIT: HERE IS ONE MORE EXAMPLE, both tuned by jorge:
WRX(2.0L), VF34(smaller than 16g), fmic:

STi(2.5L), deadbolt 20g, mods are on the bottom:

Adding the 360 pounds to the STi made a HUGE difference. WRX's are a little lighter, but sure as hell not 360 pounds lighter. If you want your car to read high then you say it weighs less than it does. If you want it to read low, then you say that it weighs more.

If your making restrictions on people not being able to tune their own vehicles or bring in their own tuner then that will be your major downfall. For instance those of use who are very big into this scene/racing would want to be doing our own tuning. For instance if i were to dyno i wouldn't want to be letting someone else do it who may or may not even be qualified to do it.And yes Dynapacks usually read way high. If i were in the market i'd go Dynojet in the floor and be done w/ it.
You can make a dyno read any way you want. All it takes is modifying that field that says "weight".
Also, the general consensus from the "tuning community" is that dynojets read the highest.
