i guess it comes down to this never let someone move in with you that you want to keep as a friend. this guy never knew be except for a visit every other weekend and now he thinks he has known me his whole life...thats not possable he never would have been my roomate if i had known him better. my other friends quit coming around because he stank.... so avoid the smell and live alone unless its a woman, then maybe just maybe a little stink might be worth it.

umm.. theres no law saying that you need a 30 day written notice for someone not on a lease. if theyre not on the lease, you have every right to kick them out whenever you want.

I saw this exact same thing on COPS the other day and there is in fact laws protecting an invited tennant, regardless of if they pay rent or not. The law says there must be a period of time given before eviction.
