Why do you need poly motor mounts on your stock D16a6?

I know my engine mounts are** too** hard, they shake my mirrors at idle

    P.s. Your missing your link..

Why not order inserts? They are -cheap-. "Window weld" mounts never really dry or work all that well. Good for a quick repair but not a permanent solution.

Makes since, well good luck Joel.

Well Matt, next time I will not get Hasport race mounts, lol. The funny thing is, my engine still moves enough to smash my hood even with the hood webing cut out. God damn usdm pice of shit.

it isnt a permanent solution. my mounts are jelly. I am going to do them in 3 or 4 layers so they actually dry. and im going to put them in the oven as well.

I have Hasport Race poly mounts, that is if this comment was addressed to me:icon_compress:

The worst mounts I ever saw was on John's ( Darkelvis ) civic. Stock eg mounts with a SiRII is a bad idea.

Remeber that shit Matt, they fell apart...

nope just a general comment. The only reason I'm doing it is to get rid of shifter movement and the jumpy downshifting. i dont like the car shaking at idle with the motor, but i would rather have that than my shifter move 3 or 4 inches when i accerlate or my hood smacking my valvecover.
