Has anyone ever tried Z-linking a supra? I have seen it work well on a Nsx.

Looks good so far Dave, damn that's a lot of stuff cut out of there. Is it going good or in the realm of pain in the ass yet?

It's going good because Laske is doing all the work. 😄 I removed the rear subframe and all the other junk back there, but he did the plasma cutting and hand grinding.

          bookem: whats a Z link?

capitlj: yes, it should definitely be ready in the spring

          karter2_22: yes, 4-link

          PSiedTSi and Weshole: YES!

z-link is when there is one bar form the front that goes to the top of the birdcage, and one bar from the back of the car that goes to the bottom of the birdcage, forming a "z". at least in dirt track racing

Good looking forward to seeing it run next year. What are you running for a trans, I've heard of a couple of supras running powerglydes and kicking ass.

Yes, running a Powerglide. I had to get the VR sticker in there (altho you can barely see it through the dust). 33x10.5w tires. Drifting uh huh.... :icon_rr:

This car was bought wrecked, it doesn't bother me much to cut it up.

Thank you for explaining, you are right on the money explaining it. For a drag car, instead of having a panhard bar or torsion bar a two-way shock is mounted to the top of the dif to an upper cross member. This worked very well and cheap for a Nsx that was in Texas, I would link some more info on the car but that car owner is under some heat for the shop he is associated with.

I can only assume its a stolen car/parts deal. Thats what I was saying. I've been hearing about a lot of that bullshit going on.
