I think I found it...

i think 550 is prolly askin a little too much. the kbb value is in the 600s for a fair condition 1990 probe and this is probably poor condition which has "no value. it seems like too much considering no 5th and needs a new clutch and then other stuff that doesnt really matter to you...and after saying all that 500 bucks isnt all that much and you prolly wont find one for cheaper.

talk to eric schafer or matt faul there your best source of info

$550 is to much, your going to have a lot invested to fix all that shit, and i guarentee there is more wrong.
-Paint is ugly grey with greenpinstripes and a red trunk
Do you honestly want to be sporting this around.
-Key is stuck in the ignition
This will need to be replaced, its not cheap either.
-5th gear is completely gone (How does 5th go before low gears?)
You need a new tranny, looking to replace it you're looking at 500-700
-The clutch is toast... the travel is probably around an inch
You're going to need to pull the tranny and replace the clutch, if you can't do it yourself, its going to cost as much as the car.
-Driver's Seat is torn up
-Silver painted air vents and symbols on steering wheel filled in with a silver paint marker.-Radiator is damaged if not cracked. The owner says it's taking on average 2 gallons a day.
Your looking at a blown headgasket, the head could be wreaked, possibley replacing the entire motor.
-Outside door locks are messed up.
-
unless you have about 2500 bucks laying around JUST to get it working and running like its new..id pass. 3k for 1990 turbo probe that is still going to be misc colors sounds more like a punishment then a blessing.

Agreed, not a good car at all to start with. If the tranny is that messed up and the head gasket is screwed you can bet the engine and everything attached to it is nearly shot as well. Basically you've got a shell for 500 and then you have to source another car for the remaining parts. Sounds like a lot of hassle.

how was the engine?
