    I have actually seen timing belts on LS motors break and nothing happen to the valves as long as the motor wasn't very high in the rev range. I'd throw a belt on it first and see if it runs, then go from there.

      yeah i guess the kid bought a timing belt for it. even if I have to replace the head, I can't complain cause I'm basically getting the car for free.:icon_thumright:

          well it depends on what you have to trade, otherwise I've been looking for a integra for a while.

                We'll see if the car will run with the head thats on it now otherwise if it doesn't then I will be looking for one.

                        did any gsr integra come with a b18b1? just wondering, cause i didn't get a chance to look to closely to see if it was.

                          If it was a gsr it would have the gsr motor = b18c1
