These cars are all around contenders that will bring the pain on most vehicles by only spending a few grand, whether it's the drag strip, road course, or highway.
Sure, they may not be number one at everything, but I'm pretty sure 11 sec. timeslips, 1G+ cornering, and 160+mph gearing is VERY feasible for those cars in one package of mods.
Beats the hell out of a FWD sedan that can only go fast in a quarter mile setting, IMO.

Sure but can you pick up an M3, Z06, or EVO for under 10k? Even if you could would you drive it every day? If you were abusing it and broke something could you get parts easily? These are the reasons I stand by the Grand Prix all the way, and I don't even like GM cars.

Granted, a lot of the M3s that came up were 10-13 years old, some auto, some sedan, but the point is that one can be found in that price range.
And it's still better than a loud ass GTP running open pipes at a drag strip while posting some sweet 13 sec. times.

Oh and by the way, I dont have anything against GP's its just the bashing on the forum i thought was kind of silly. "yeah man GP's pwn3 w00tw00t" type of attitude.
Seems like a couple of the guys are nice though, so no hard feelings. Any car car be fast and enjoyable.

gp's FTMFL!!!!!!! my first car was a gtp the that tranny went out so many times and i rarely got on that car. that car was in the shop more then it was at my house. ill stick to my 1.6l hondas. the only pontiac id even would look at would be a gto but not the new ones cause they look just as gay as the gp's but at least its a v8 and rwd!
