They can leave the bar. Nobody is forcing them to be there. They made a CHOICE to be in the bar and they can choose to leave if they don't want to deal with smoke. The fact of the matter is that taking the rights of one person in order to "protect" the rights of another is bullshit.QFT^^

YES!!!!!! FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!! someone who agrees. thank youFunny, I read that as saying the "rights" of smokers shouldn't infringe on the "rights" of non-smokers who have the "right" to breath clean air....

And you take the bait every fucking time.Lol, yeah I "[took] the bait" for sure. It sure is pretty difficult to argue with the mentally challenged CMK. For someone with an IQ below 60, you do put up quite the fight. Back to the institution for you!

Actually, CMK is fairly intelligent and well versed in the subject he debates. He does, however, have the ability to make others look like idiots, seemingly at will.

I agree with ONE exception. I feel for JT Cigaro's... Those that don't smoke, typically don't frequent the place, but I know a lot of people that really enjoyed that place. I don't see how on earth they can survive now. At least Moorhead bars are playing on an even field, which should STIMULATE that economy.July 1st it takes effect.

I thought JT Cigarro's was the only place exempt from the law...

Via In-Forum.com:
"Measure 3 would have made exceptions for enclosed bars that prohibit patrons under the age of 21, designated areas of truck stops and J.T. Cigarro Tobacco Bar.
About 43 percent of voters supported the measure. It had 6,698 votes in complete but unofficial results."
JT lost 57% to 43%

I feel for JT Cigarro as well. If there was an appeal to allow them to continue as a "Tobacco Bar" I'd be in support of them being able to remain a smoke-allowed environment.
