I just bought a fire extinguisher and was wondering how it needs to be mounted. I bought mine at checker and it has plastic tabs for screwing them down. Is that acceptable? Anybody else have a FE?

What kind of track? For drag racing a fire suppression system isn't required until you are going REALLY fast.

it's not required in my car either but I put an extinguisher in there. I mounted mine between the fronts seats, attached to the rollcage crossmember. Basically just mount it where you hopefully won't accidentally activate it, yet it's close enough that you can grab it while driving if need be.
